Good idea on the grease as you can’t have too much of that. .Neat little trick conversionI am moving and instead of paying to have my RV moved this time I decided to pull it and I rented a U-Haul to pull my 20’ cargo trailer. The only problem I had was my trailer is setup with a 2 5/16” coupler and the U-Haul has a welded 2” ball rated for 10k. My trailer is lighter than this and even though the U-Haul has a 2” channel to put an offset hitch in I really didn’t want to spend a ton of money on an entire hitch just for the one trip. So how to use a 2” ball with a 2 5/16” coupler? I found this, I didn’t even know these existed but super cheap and as long as I’m not exceeding the rating of the 2” ball. I feel like coming up on 3 yrs sounds like they are good on age. They look good. I’ll be selling the coach once I get there and buying a house. Just want to make sire the next owner is set as well. I’m dropping it for a few small repairs before I sell. 85 to 90 psi would be just fine with that weight but what is the ply rating, E, F or G. They are G rated.Re: Tire life?Sounds good I’ll pump them to 95psi and see how things ride. It does a fairly good job of not throwing things around and I’ve packed most of my items in bins already as I’ll be moving out when I get there.Re: Tire life? She’s close to 16k loaded and I’m thinking 8k axles. Also they list 110psi on the sidewall and I’m running 80psi. Should I air them up to max? In a couple months I’m making the journey from Houston to Orlando and prepping early.Parks around HoustonAre there any parks around Houston area that have some room? Everything I’ve seen so far has been a parking lot with hookups. Most seem to have sprang up since the hurricane last year. It’s not just Houston but seems most parks are trying to maximize quantity of RVs to maximize profits but dang give me a little room. I remember 3 years ago staying in Arkansas at a park that you had almost a house plot for your site.Re: Skirt or Bra or More?I use this on my sports car. Good stuff and lasts a long time. I really love Montana’s front windows and that opposing rear door is super cool. I’ve never seen that. Enjoy the new found room, I switched last year. JeffRe: What 34-39' FW do you recommend for FULL TIME Living?I would look at the full body paint (looks way better especially a darker color) and stay under 10 years just to prevent the hassle. Lots of the parks in CA and here in Texas I’ve done have had 10year rules. One in CA did check and make a copy of the registration. Usually a waiting list to get in the parks there so you don’t argue lol. I found that around 3-5years is a sweet spot in age and depreciation. My Landmark was 80k new in 2013 and I bought it in 2017 for 26k.
