Make sure you follow the directions on the sites as to how to measure the size of the fabric you need. Each site does it different. You can replace it yourself but you will need to have three people to do the job. I know because I did mine. Watch as many videos on how to replace the fabric as yo can find. I used a little from each video in the replacement of mine. It took me a couple of hours. Tough Tops Dyers Online Re: Need recommendations pleaseI can only speak for myself but 40' 5th wheel would be too long. I have a 34' 5th wheel and it is large enough inside for us. There are some State parks that I can not get into but they are few and far between. I do have to be careful because of my length when looking for a campsite. Most campgrounds will tell you if you can fit in their sites. Most 5th wheels are tall and while traveling you have to watch out for low hanging objects.Re: Mud daubersI have installed one each of these mud dauber screens on my RV. They do seem to work for the ten years I have had the RV. I live in Florida and mud daubers are a problem here. Mud Dauber ScreensRe: Garmin RV 760LMT Tips Posted By wrote: I am confused. When you download Basecamp it has a basic map but to create routes you need the maps loaded on your GPS. There are two ways to do this. The first is to connect your GPS to the computer and use the maps on the GPS. The second way is to load the maps that are on your GPS to the computer. You need to download Garmin Express it is used to update you GPS and as you update your GPS with new maps you can store the map to your computer. Once the map is on the computer you can create routes without the GPS connected to the computer and when you are finished connect your GPS and transfer the routes to the GPS. Mapsource is no long supported by Garmin but does the same things as Basecamp. I don't know anything about using MS S&T.Re: Get underneath & checkI installed the wet bolts and then I found this post on how it was done. Wish I had seen this before I did mine. The tips here would have helped me because all the problems were solved here. Instructions for wet bolt install.Re: Kennebunk And KennebunkportWe stayed at the Red Apple and it was located near town and it worked out well for us. You have to pay with cash or check for your site. It is a nice park. You can have fresh cooked lobster delivered to your site! We were there in August and it was warm but not too bad. We did a couple of day trips. One to the LL Beam store and another to Ogunquit to walk the Marginal Way.Re: Waxing a toilet?Yes, waxing anything makes stuff not stick. That holds true for any sinks in the RV. I wax my sinks and they are easier to clean. My toilet has a porcelain bowl so I don't wax it. All I can say is wax on, wax off.My Propane Regulator is ShotMy propane regulator is shot and will not change to full tank from empty automatically. Also the change over lever is very hard to move. Mine is nine years old and it appears that is is no longer manufactured. What is a good replacement regulator?Re: Money well spentThe filters are in series. The first filter is for sediment it get the big stuff. The second is for taste it is a carbon filter. The first one gets used up faster than the second one. Here is a link that explains it better than me. Water Filtering Money well spentI did a long trip and stopped at seven campgrounds. Before the trip I purchased a new water pressure regulator. It allows more gallons per minute. The pressure is set at 40 psi but with the higher water flow the shower has better pressure and water flow. This was true in all of the campgrounds. My old regulator had less gpm but higher psi but the new regulator has shown to be superior. I think it was money well spent. Here is the one I purchased; Watts Brass New Model X65BG (replaces N55BG) Adjustable Regulator, 2" diameter 0-160 gauge, 6-9 gpm, lead free. I also have this filter setup; Dual Canisters, Both White, w/ 3/4" brass hose fittings. Wrench incl. Web site where I purchased my stuff; RV Water Filter Site
