What could be better in life than that.Re: post pictures of your HTTYes Michael it was a fairly young coyote. We have several that roam our property. I have seen them eating juniper berries in the winter before, but I had never seen one chewing on a tree like this guy was doing. There is a more than ample supply of deer mice and rabbits here for them but maybe he wasn't a very good hunter yet. The Mexican Grey Wolves have not migrated up here as far as I know. They are in the southern part of the state.Re: post pictures of your HTTI know it isn't our trailer and camping, but I caught this sight out my living room window the other morning. Windows are tinted so he couldn't see me while I photographed. He was about five feet from me munching away on a juniper tree. I just had to share this. This is what keeps me sane during the winter months. Re: post pictures of your HTT Sallypicanally wrote: So where do I find my preferance setting? Thanks! I sent you a private message with instructions for getting to settings and checking the box to be able to see pictures. PM me back if you still have problems.Re: post pictures of your HTT Robocop wrote: Nopthing exciting to take pics of at Cherrystone (VA) after seven years in the same place! Just another boring day in paradise eh Scott? :BRe: post pictures of your HTT luvztheoutdoorz1 wrote: and enjoying a Lake Superior sunset... Oh my Linda, that is a spectacular sunset. Thank you for sharing that picture.Re: post pictures of your HTTJust returned from a great weekend at a gorgeous campground a short trip from home. It was less than 150 miles round trip. We couldn't get a reservation at the state park we wanted,so I found this private one (Ranchero de Santa Fe) on the Internet and reserved. What a great find it was. We will use this whenever we can't get the state park locations we want. Re: post pictures of your HTTThis weekend, we went to Cochiti Lake. It is a small man made lake on the Rio Grande River, maintained by Corps of Engineers. We had a nice little site, but no view of the lake. It was our first back-in site. Only took two tries to park it. Power box was too far to reach with 30-amp cord so we had to break out the heavy duty extension cord and run on 20-amp. Too far to water connection too but we survived on fresh water tank. First trip to common dump station. A very good trip, after a rocky start when hooking up and broke my electric jack. Cochiti Lake Site 27 is ours for the weekend. Down to the lake from near site 33. "Hmm rib-eye steak, cheese enchiladas and salad. When did you say dinner would be ready?"Re: post pictures of your HTTFirst trip in the new Roo went pretty well this weekend. We stayed close to home so we could use our baseball tickets for the weekend. Made a few mistakes, but I don't think we broke anything that can't be repaired, and we made it home safe and sound. We didn't take a lot of pictures. The camera started acting up. I cooked the first meal inside on Sunday morning. We had pancakes and sausage and bacon, then I grilled hamburgers to christen the grill for the first time Sunday night. Taffy is officially a camping kitty now. She did very well and once she got used to campground noise around us, seemed to relax and have a really good time. We had a pull-thru site with full hookups so we got to use everything and practice dumping and other chores before we go a little more primitive next weekend. Even though I had the advantage of the pull-thru, I still had to back it down this driveway when we got home. Not to bad actually, so next week should be pretty easy at our back in site.Re: post pictures of your HTTStill playing in camp driveway and learning about our New Roo. Took a side trip to Camping World on Saturday and bought some fun treasures for the Roo. Decided to get the Sewer Solution. The rest was mostly toys; patio rug, throw rugs inside, windsock, tacky lights for the awning. Just got one string for now. Looks like we will need four strings to be truly tacky and obnoxious. I am going to try the clips that look like suspender clips too instead of the hooks, so the lights hang below the awning valance. Any experience with those from forum members? Spent today cleaning and trying packing options, washing camping dishes, listened to the cup race on outside speakers while I read the paper. A good weekend overall, even if still in camp driveway. This is the new patio rug and a windsock. The tacky awning lights. New Throw Rugs
