It’s just reall decorative - that black panel on the standard camper fridge. Chum lee wrote: If you ever have to replace the old fridge in it's entirety, you may have to transfer the existing panel on the old fridge to the new fridge if you want it to match so don't make it too difficult to get off. To the OP - this is correct. Apply GOOP to the back of the panel, a few dabs along the top edge and a few along the bottom edge, where you can later break through it with a thin, flat wall scraper if need be. Support the panel in position for a day while the GOOP cures, then it should hold securely. Kind of what I was thinking as well. Might want to check out an automotive trim/weather strip adhesive, which I have found to work well for a number of "one-off" fixes. https://www.amazon.com/3M-03601-Plastic-Emblem-Adhesive/dp/B000CCM3J2/ref=sr_1_5?ie=UTF8&qid=1532458351&sr=8-5&keywords=automotive+trim+adhesive There are a few different brands to include Goop. I like 3M stuff and I like to buy small quantities as once the product is opened the unused portions tend to dry up over time and can be difficult to use again.Re: Good glue to withstand heat and weight?Hello, will you need to be able to remove this panel at any point in the future?Re: What to look for in purchasing a tow vehicle for my TTCongratulations on the great find. If the future (new) truck's purpose will be primrlily to tow your trailer for recreation, why not look for something that will meet the current requirements and also offer opportunties for future growth in trailer size/weight? Take a look at trucks in the 3/4 - 1 ton range as well. A bit bigger investment now may help out in the future.Re: Camping Etiquette jplante4 wrote: "Drinking since noon" and "whoop it up because your favorite song started playing"... Sounds like you need to go to a better class of campground. 100% agree..."if you can't beat them,...well then create a bunch of space between you and the problem..."Re: Upside down DIY drill press for working under the RVI would think that the resetting process for each hole would be too time consuming and extinguish the delightment of the ingenuity in a hurry...unless you are on a flat, smooth surface and can build a platform on wheels to roll the drill from location-to-location. A good quality self-tapping screw (not Phillips head) would be my initial choice, as others have mentioned.Re: The part I like the least. SoundGuy wrote: The part I liked least is packing for a trip. :( Yeah, yeah - I keep the camper here at the house during the season, plugged in, and yeah it's generally "packed" except for food but I always nonetheless seem to make countless trips back & forth before it's totally ready to go. And no, with electric rates we pay which are about the highest in N America I don't run the fridge throughout the season, just when we're going camping. I guess it is what it is. :R Yes! Agree 1000%. Always seems to be a big PITA no matter how much you plan ahead and always forget something anyway. It’s exhausting...:)Re: 2017 Artic Fox Y25One flooding or unwanted results with a water situation would have been the extent of my comfort level. After the first flood was any action taken to figure it out and find the source of the issue?Re: Sales agreementI would think that all the details of the order and purchase to include your responsibilities as it relates to the transaction would be worked out before the order to build was placed and not negotiated along-the-way. Is the 5000 up front determined within a written policy? But things as they are based upon your expalaination, and as others have mentioned, I would not front anymore money until the rig is on the lot and ready for inspection. Does this dealer have previous complaints or reviews that would reflect negatively on their ability to deliver or handle their business with integrity? Let us know how this turns out....I’m sure your good karma with being honest about the accounting error will help out if needed. :)Re: Need ideas for levelling SoundGuy wrote: pasusan wrote: Thanks Soundguy for the reminder of needing a step stool... A conventional step stool can be awfully wobbly when used for entering / exiting an RV ... I'd instead invest in an Adjustable Leg Platform Step with spread legs that adjust to the level of the ground it's sitting on so it won't wobble when you step on it. Absolutely! One of the best pieces of equipment I’ve purchased. Expensive for what it does but worth it and much safer than the standard step stool.Re: SUV Tow vehicle suggestions jbank74 wrote: Thanks everyone. Picked up a used F250 6.0L turbo diesel crew cab so I think all the issues are resolved. Appreciate the help and perspectives! Jeff Right on. Enjoy and if you need to fix something, then there is a ton of information out there and experienced owners/former owners that probably know what needs to be done on the 6.0. Solid engine if those initial issues have been resolved.
