Both ends should be about the same. If not the awning needs to be pushed/pulled until the measurements are equal. This can easily happen if the awning has been out during high winds. It happened so often on a previous 5th wheel I owned that I put a small sheet metal screw in each end of the slot to hold the awning in place.Re: Tow hall modeMy F-350 only when towing. My motorhome always on.Re: Low mileage V10sWhat a bad post. As said by others the V-10 is one of the best engines that Ford has built. If what you say is correct where are all of the posts about engines blowing?Re: Water heater, anode rod, electrolysis, and teflon tapeIt is often stated on RV forums that you should not use Teflon tape on the anode rod threads as it could interfere with the electrical contact. While it may be often stated I have yet to see one that wasn't rapidly corrected. Everyone makes it too complicated. A voltmeter set to ohms will quickly prove that there is still continuity with the use of tape. you are dealing with microvolts so it takes very little contact.Re: Back tire stuck in wet groundCongrats on getting it out. You could have saved the Tow Truck driver a lot of grief on here if you had included the info that is was your decision to not pull from the back.Re: Tire Inflation - What RU UsingAlso VIAIR. Perfect small compressor.Re: Tiffin Allegro 32SA engine accessGood answers but on my 32SA there were more than 4 screws. Six or seven if I recall.Re: jacks up or downI suppose it depends on the manufacturer but HWH says, on their web page FAQs, that there is no reason to retract their jacks for storage.Re: Jacks During Storage ??I don't know what system you have but the following is from the HWH FAQs: 54. Can I store my coach with my jacks extended? Yes, this will not hurt the system. 55. How long can I leave my coach parked with the jacks extended? As long as you want. We recommend operating the system occasionally if possible. 56. Do I need to do any maintenance on the jacks or slide-outs while the vehicle is parked with the jacks and slide-outs extended? There is no necessary maintenance for the jacks or slide-outs while the vehicle is parked. If desired, WD-40® can be used on the jack rods right before storing the jacks if dirt has collected on the rods. Refer to the following link for jack maintenance information ml47149.pdf. 57. If I’m parked for a month or two, should I occasionally operate my system? Yes, it is good to operate the system occasionally but it is not required.Re: Nascar at Richmond Raceway VAI don't want to disagree with ford truck guy. There is a dump station in the main campground. I have been camping there since 1988. The dump station is at the end of the 400s row. Or in other words as you come in the main campground, go straight ahead it will be on your right. A row of Porta Potties will be right beside it.
