I put in a $1500+ stereo in my E450. pioneer double din, and JL amp and speakers, with a bazooka tube. I put the front speakers in the stock door locations. There is way better stuff out there, but the cost goes up real fast. Mine sounds great! The doghouse and floor are insulated very well, and dynamat type stuff in the doors.Re: Need Advice on E450 Engine Mod crawford wrote: E bay sells map sensors for V10 fords 59.99. Dont waste money on this junk! the V10 runs mostly off the maf, not even sure if it has a map, and if it does, its used more for VE speed density stuff or barometric pressure.Re: Need Advice on E450 Engine ModIf I had a v10, I'd keep it stock and I can even tune it for free. I've tuned 100s of fords and I still tell customers that it's probably not worth tuning on a mostly stock vehicle. I would also not want a tune with more timing than stock when pulling heavy weight at WOT for minutes on end. Cars can get away with a bit more advance because they never at wot for minutes on end.Re: Buying a Former Rental Class C. How many of us out there?I don't own a rental, but I've been in a few of them for trips. Both of them were beat down pretty hard (RV america). They rattled like crazy, like an old city bus where you are worried about the windows falling out. I think rv america had the vendor make them extra cheap for them. It looks like some of you scored, but the rentals down here in san diego are beat pretty hard. We briefly considered them due to the much lower price, but passed on them in the end.Re: LevelingI used to use whatever I had with my camper Now I have 4 wheel ramps and 2 bags of lego bricks and those levels mentioned above. I have air bags all around and use them to fine tune.
