Looks like where they nailed it in. Looking online I am guessing this is the adhesive they used and it is coming through. Some what sticky. Is there any product that removes or reduces this? I tried some soap and water on a spot. It didn’t do much. I read on the Forest River Forum that some dealers gave up trying to fix this for customers. Any suggestions? It’s not on the white ceiling or floor yet thank goodness. Trying to handle this before the spouse complains. Thanks.Re: Awful Awful MattressFirst night. Not as bad as I thought. We put a good not Temperpedic but good 3” topper on and a cotton mattress pad too. The Queen complained of a headache and stiff neck but that could be from overnight weather change. We have to figure out a comfortable temperature cause it got warm overnight. Only one bedroom window opens up. Not the emergency one. That’s a change too.Awful Awful MattressI picked up my new Puma travel trailer today. My previous Puma was showing its age and it was time for a slightly bigger model. In 2013 we could order specific upgraded items like real material on a sofa instead of plastic. So we upgraded the mattress to a better one and added a topper and all was good. So I get the new one today with the “upgrade packages” that doesn’t include a better mattress. I look carefully and remove the coverings and it is nothing but plastic packing fibers. What a POS. I guess I am off to a mattress store very soon. Call me annoyed. How to remove gutter spouts from TTI have a 6 year old 23ft Puma Aluminum travel trailer. I live in South Florida so I use it all winter and then cover it for summer and leave it on the storage lot. The cover keeps it clean and minimizes sun damage. Usually an ADCO cover. But every year, even tho it is padded and no sharp edges, I get holes from the gutter spouts. I have used pool noodles, small light weight plastic balls, tennis balls, bubble wrap and foam on those spouts. Even if the padding stays on all summer, which doesn't always happen, the padded spout eventually wears and tears thru the cover. I am lucky if a cover lasts me two seasons. And yes, I buy the correct size. It is very windy here all summer and fall and the cover shifts no matter how I tie it down. So now I am thinking of just removing those spouts. They came attached with the trailer, and seem to be attached with just the caulk and putty around the seams. Has anyone taken their's off, and how did that work? Thanks.Anyone with StabiliTrak or ABS sensor probs? These seem to be affecting GM vehicles for years, according to today's Internet search. I am having problems now with my 2013 Suburban. We are on an extended camping trip. Last month I hit a pothole hard and the computers and sensors died and I had to be towed in. Well, roads all over America are in lousy condition and I have really tried to take it easy. Today on a mildly rough spot on the interstate, these two lights came on again. Fortunately the truck seems to still be running OK. Others have had a "reduced engine power" light come on too, but I have not. I called a nearby dealer who of course could not see me today, being Friday afternoon. The manual says it's ok to drive with these lights on, I just won't have use of these safety features. It seems like GM has ignored this for years. Very frustrating.Re: Hit pothole and truck stopped running. The service guy said no inertia switch in GM or SuburbanRe: Hit pothole and truck stopped running.Yup the sensor was fried and the EBCM was fried. They made sure the brakes were ok. They got the part in and I have the truck back. Nice dealership and covered under warranty.Re: Hit pothole and truck stopped running. So, a relay was burned out and a few computers that talk to the fuel pump were fried. They don't know if the incident caused the computers to fail or they were bad anyway. They are assuming the incident caused it and covering it with the warranty. I think that Suburbans have a history of fuel pump problems. At least mine have. But truck is two yrs old and only 11,000 miles. Hope it fixes the problem. They are trying to overnight the parts.Re: Hit pothole and truck stopped running.Yes. I am letting the dealer fix it. Hoping it's today. At least a DX today if not a fix.
