Ventilation!!!Re: Best screws to attach WH to foam board? Is there a high temperature spray foam that would work? That stuff is pretty sticky. I don't understand what exactly you are doing but just a thought.Re: F-150 20” wheelsOur 2018 ECO CC XLT max tow was totaled is Sept during a hurricane. I had LT Michelens on it . Tires were 18 inch. We replaced the truck with exactly same truck, 2020. The 2020 has 20 inch tires, which I was not really excited about at first. The tires are stock OE ford tires. I really have changed my mind and love the look and ride of the 20 inch tires. Have not been able to tow with it yet due to illness, but i'm betting the 20's will tow better.Re: 3.5 eco boost w/ 10 speedWe have towed several thousand miles with that setup. Always use tow haul. Did use manual shift some in the rolling hills, but usually just let it do it's thing. Towing a TT about 7200 lbs loaded. Never been been in real mountains so can't speak to to that.Re: What's the longest/heaviest you would tow with a 1/2 ton? Either way, I will most likely try to find something 6000# UVW or less. I can't see driving all the way across the country for the Northwoods or Outdoors RV. I'm really trying to find something that compares to the Lance 2375 just so we have some choices. There might not be much, if any except the stuff that is quite a bit less money. Then it's the "well do I pay for higher quality now or deal with fixing the lesser expensive one later". Of course, they are all man made and all have issues to some extent. Wopachop, that is a true statement. I would have a 2500 and a larger trailer and something else for my wife to daily drive. I drive a 2020 Camaro SS 1LE. There is a "budget" of sorts. I just see a 2500 series sweet Ram night edition with a 6.4 Hemi and consider it, but in reality, she might like a 1500 better and the gas MPG is horrible on those 2500's. Since you are in FuQuay-Varina Check out Sonnys RV . They have 2 location, one NC near Charlotte and one in SC, Dillon I think. They made us a good deal on our GD 2500rl. We pull with a F150 2020 ECO max tow and probably 7200 loaded. GD has several TT that would fit a F150 nicely. We love our GD and F150. BTW not affiliated with either.Re: Wheelbase question Real men do not drive short bed trucks ! Real men don't make comments like that unless their tongue is firmly planted in their cheek.Re: Ford F150 STX V6What v6 is it? Would make a big difference. We have a 2020 F150, 4x4, crew cab with the 3.5 ECO engine. Not a STX, it is a XLT, 302a pkg with max tow. Have not towed with it yet, however it is a replacement for a hurricane flooded 2018 with the same specs. The 2018 towed great. A 2500rl Imagine TT. It is about 7000 lbs loaded. How yours would tow depends on what you are towing, specs on your truck including engine and payload.Re: My 2019 Ford F 150 towingCheck your payload sticker to see what you have to deal with. That will tell what you might want to tow. We had a 2004 F150 and added a controller with no problem but the truck was not set up for heavier TT's. But it did fine for the smaller TT we had at the time.Re: Sporttrek TV mount movePictures would help or you may find someone with your same unit. We didn't like the original mount in our TT. I removed the old mount and installed a 3/4 " piece of plywood that would allow the weight to be spaced out over a larger area. Then installed a new mount that was more flexible viewing wise and it works great. Just be careful what you are putting screws into.Re: Carbon Monoxide/Propane Alarm - Propane Leak?We had a propane detector go bad in a practically new TT. ( not our current unit ) It was random and no propane was leaking. Detector was replaced under warranty. Problem solved. Sometimes they just don't last long apparently.
