My Camper has the number on the Corner and it says "Virginia Unit" What does that mean? Don't know for sure, but my guess is that Virginia had some unusual build requirement that had to be met, so those units were a bit different and specifically tagged as such.Re: Air Mattress ?"This is due to the heat-sink effect of thermo-negative hollow air mattresses. They are only for use in heated enclosures, because they exchange heat to be the same temp as outside air, so if you're sleeping on them, they're working 24/7 to suck the warmth out of you. A cellular foam mattress would need to be 5.0 R-value or better to overcome this, while a hollow air mattress (or cot) is measured at a negative 0.75." One of the coldest nights I ever spent was sleeping on an air mattress on concrete in an overcrowded youth hostel garage floor in Paris in May of 1973. (And I was in a military down mummy bag!)Re: Sleepys birthdayAdd my belated best wishes, Chet. We are still resting up from our rather strenuous five day ATV ride in Utah and thirty hour drive each way. Without power steering on the ATV, this (almost) 66 year old was tired and sore each night from wrestling the bike around all day.Not a truck camper, but interesting camper from AustraliaUEV 440, very unique but pricey, from Australia. If you want to buy it, I bet he'd sell it to you at a reasonable price. But his criticisms are quite valid, particularly if you off-road. With my new unit, I bought Torklifts for the front and copied Torklifts for the back to fit into the hitch ends.Re: Good Evening campers... How do you light up the night? The cheap stick in the ground solar lights from Harbor Freight work alright, if you need 'em for minimal light.Re: Dodge Ram trucks buyback ordered languiduck wrote: My Blue Heaven wrote: This is an FYI, not a flame on Chrysler. I don't see where this agreement is helpful to the consumer in any way. Does someone else see something I don't see? An owner is free to trade their truck in any time they wish. I don't have anything against Dodge. If there was a buyback offer on whatever truck I had, I would like to know about it, just like I would like to know about any recall of a vehicle I owned.Dodge Ram trucks buyback orderedNational Highway Traffic Safety Administration just ordered Fiat Chrysler to buy back 500,000 Ram trucks and Jeeps.
