We spent 5 months in it in 2012 on our trip to Alaska. It worked flawlessly had no issue with the slides the whole time we have owned itRe: Solar on Lance 1130I think before you do anything you need to research solar panels for yourself. Doing a search for RV Solar Panels will yield a lot of websites that describe adding solar panels to an RV. One good site is AM Solar, good start but not the only place. I added 300 Watts of solar to my 2010 1160 Eagle Cap. So far it's the best upgrade I have done to the camper. Somethings to watch out for: 1. Size of wire(as already mentioned). 2. Type of controller installed. Issue here is, can it handle the additional wattage. 3. How do you use your camper and what size is right for you. Hope this helpsRe: Tire pressure carrying northern-liteI have an F350 dually that I carry a 2010 Eagle Cap 1160. I have been Load E Michelin tires. I run them at 75 PSI in the front and 70 in the rear. I noticed that you have Timbrens on in the rear. When I first bought the rig I had the heavy duty Timbrens also, I did not like the ride at all. When I took the rig to a suspension shop they suggested adding two leaf springs on each side. It made a world of difference in the ride. Yes, it does ride harsher without the camper but it is worthed to us since the truck is used about 75% of the time with the camper.Re: Eagle Cap campers:3 tons well saidRe: Eagle Cap campers:Own an 2010 Eagle Cap 1160 with two slides. Have mot had a leak problem. But I would be bery surprised tp find an RV that doesn't leak way too many jponrs that can fail. Overall we are very happy with pur camper.Re: Electrical problemHaf the same rhing happen to me. Like Bumpy said check the reaet on the GFI outletRe: Eagle Cap 1160 Refrigerator Problembphusmc, Did you ever take a photo of your fix. What kind of hard pipe did you use? With our camper it is the opposite of yours the refrigerator works fine when it is closed and works poorly in the fully open position. I am afraid that if I use the wrong fix the kink is just going to move somewhere else.Re: Eagle Cap 1160 Refrigerator ProblemThank you for the info all. I am going to go check on that fan. How far up is the fan? I have taken both doors off and can't see it, so far.Eagle Cap 1160 Refrigerator ProblemHello All Wondering if anyone else has had a problem with their refrigerator located in the slide. Went camping this past weekend and could not get the refrigerator to cool properly the refrigerator part only cooled slightly and the freezer part cooled close to what the refrigerator should have been cooling to. I think I have narrowed the problem down to the LP hose that is under the slide. The hose has kink in it and the farther I open the slide the more the hose gets restricted. So my question is. Is there a way to take the kink out without replacing the entire hose. If the hose has to be replaced where can a replacement hose be bought? I have searhed the internet and I am coming up with nothing that looks close to the hose that is currently installed. Any help is a greatly appreciated.Eagle Cap 1160 Refrigerator ProblemThis topic has been moved to another forum. You can read it here: 28903627
