Best of all worlds you can find on amazon for about $40. I would test that wrench in the driveway before putting much faith in it. They are very weak where they fold. Been using it for five years no issue, I have multiple trailers so it is the best tool for my use. The connection is in the center and is quite strong.Re: tire wrenchI carry a collapsible 4 way lug wrench. Ram only used that one in 19 and 20 before realizing their mistake. With the Aisin definitely one of the best towing rigs in the one ton market (coming from a GM guy :)) I had to do a CP3 conversion and though the price has come down for the parts still an expensive endeavor.Re: Toy Hauler rear doorSorry about your situation I can certainly understand. You may be ble to find someone local to do the job for a reasonable cost. Like I said that outside layer can be replaced with marine painted luan wood OR source some aluminum sheeting used on enclosed trailers. Plain white should work. I used to own a KZ New Vision and that was the trailer we did this repair on. Total cost of materials was about $400 but we did not need the outside layer. Cost at the time for a new door was north of $4K. Good luck hope you get it resolved.Re: RV retail sales drop 31% April year over year.Used market is still very brisk here in FL. Sky-high rent combined with unaffordable mortgage interest rates (a 200k motgage is up $400/month from January) is pushing a lot of people into full time lifestyles. Locally campgrounds have doubled monthly rent but still substantially cheaper than an apartment right now.Re: Toy Hauler rear doorThese are not tough to rebuild yourself. Especially if the outer fiberglass sheet is in decent shape. Take the door off. Take apart the outside aluminum trim. You will find one or two layers of cheap plywood under the grip surface that overlay an aluminum square tube frame, usually with foam panels between the framing for insulation. Other side of frame will be luan with fiberglass exterior surface. Replace rotten wood, the odd size usually means you need to use at least two layers of two pieces of thin luan plywood which comes 4x8. Make your seam vertical (when door is closed) and interlock the two layers by gluing them together with hardwood floor adhesive-full coverage troweled down. Use whatever grip surface you like (rubber diamond plate is nice) and glue that to surface. If the fiberglass side is rotten, make the same plywood sandwich and you can paint with marine (Interlux Perfection is very nice) after bondo/mesh over seam. Otherwise just reuse the outside layer. Reassemble the outside trim and brackets. It's an easier job that it even sounds.Well won’t be going to the other site ever again...This topic has been moved to another forum. I believe they build the zero g system for Lippert/MorydeRe: Sewer smell strong in trailer when dumping??If equipped with washer hookups check that the drain is either capped or has water in the trap.Re: More campers than parksWe are x-full timers that now travel quite a bit. There are some very valid points being brought up here. And as former FTers I must admit the monthly long term rentals have ruined many parks. Parks that used to be beautiful places to visit have turned into dilapidated trailer parks with rotting trailers parked next to $500,000 diesel pushers. When we travel we refuse to stay at any park that has sheds, portable carport tents, or piles of junk at campsites. By voting with our money we support quality parks that cater to true vacationers. Plenty of people we speak to in our travels are starting to do the same. Also, I would like to mention in our state (Florida), the state parks only allow about half of the sites to be reserved. The rest are “walk up sites”. This allows you to still get spontaneous and take short trips without notice. If you arrive Monday through Thursday you are pretty much going to get a site at almost 100% of our state parks. I believe many other states do the same. We just call the office before we leave the house to confirm they have plenty of walk ups available. We have stayed at Gamble Rodgers, Bahia Honda, and many other “unobtainable” parks just like this.
