Between my 5 " truck exhaust and my Harleys and Boats Most people hate me. But you will always have someone to complain about everything I wish this forum had a "LIKE" button ;-) Right there with ya buddy! The only fuel I'll add to the fire is that I have a dinky pistol shooting range setup in my backyard. Yeah, my neighbors appreciate that. Totally legal, and safe... Lmao .. im with you guys,my 96 PSD Dually with the 5" pipe(I actually added to lower EGT), my 99 FXSTS with drag pipes, my quads and drag trike .. BUT.... i dont warm my truck up at 5am, i idle down my street on my bike if i come home late, when i run the quads or drag trike i talk to my neighbors first and let them know (Drag trike is LOUD) .. I have consideration for them and they always thank me for it .. Its not because im "Arrogant or Selfish" thats just a comment someone would make that is ill informed on what they are talking about .. To get back on the topic, yes diesels are getting quieter, the manufactures are learning more about it and got it down pretty well .. with all the new redesign and up grades there is no reason why it shouldn't run quieterRe: Changing a flatWhat exactly are you trying to change the tire on ? Camper, tow vehicle, or both ? .. Didnt see any thing stated about what the tow vehicle is, the torque on the lugs for for my F350 Dually is 175 ft/lbs .. not gonna get that with a 3/8" wrenchJust got back home (Kinda)just got back yesterday after a 6 week job fairly close to my house .. My work partner and I stayed in my 1995 26' layton skyline TT ..Pulled it to and from the location with my 1997 F350 Dually that I pretty much bought at the same time as the TT .. For two guys that are over 6' it worked out well for us since this was the maiden voyage for us the truck and the TT .. I have to give thanks to all who post here on the sight because i read A LOT for things that could possibly happen and to battle against murphys law ...For the most part there wasnt really any problems other than me leaving the awning out and a very windy day Thanks again every one keep up the good work Mel
