Nice access to a few rivers and springs in that area (Ichetucknee, Santa Fe) Small but decent campground with a good pool and bath house. My review is on rvparkreviews.com.Re: PEX pipe and fittings rhagfo wrote: time2roll wrote: Could have about done all that in threaded brass fittings. Looks bullet proof. I believe it was a 2013. Our Starcraft has a small rain gutter at the top of each bed opening. The doors already have seals and we haven't had any leakage issues. Only way I could see it leaking is if the canvas got closed in the seal...we always check ours. Hybrid Bunk Door 101 according to Ralph. There are two types. * Forest River Design. Used on Rockwood Roo, Flagstaff Shamrock, and Palomino. * Former Kinro, now Lippert, Secure Lock Bunk Door. Used by Jayco, Keystone, Dutchmen Aerolite/Coleman/Kodiak, KZ, Forest River Surveyor and Coachmen, and everyone else. Ralph great info... Parker, heres my Starcraft Antigua 2005 typical Bunk door with the rain gutter you noted. We get water in only when its setup open and comes through near the bottom corners of the frame/gasket. I think the PUGS will help divert that minor problem next time we camp in the rain. Click For Full-Size Image.Re: Looking to buy a used HTT, first camper, family of 4. Rec? I've read that Bantams are made of thermoformed panels, and if solid they are great, but if the floor is soft run cause it cannot be fixed. Thoughts? Thanks in advance Heres my 3 bunk Antigua and what you get to play with when thermoformed panels are exposed to water....be handy. https://www.rv.net/forum/index.cfm/fuseaction/thread/tid/29526186.cfmRe: Similar to your Rig? PAThwacker wrote: I cringe daily when I see minivan towing single axle travel trailers such as 20 ft long and have a full height slide out. For past 25 years I cringed at minvan towing 3500 pup pups. Little has changed in that mindset. That's 3600 pounds of death against 3500lb max tow ratings. Move onto to CUV like exploder and traverse that have 2000 pound max tow without factory tow package or 5000ish for with factory tow. Tongue weight max on minivan and CUV range between 350 to 450ish regardless of WDH help or not. Who said anything here about using a "minivan"?Re: Similar to your Rig? Thanks Regarding the Explorer as a TV, I tow a 2005 Starcraft 215sb hybrid (about 700 lbs more than yours) with a 2014 Explorer XLT V6 "flexfuel". I do not have the factory tow package. I had U Haul install Class 3 Hitch with a full 7 pin connector and adjustable electric brake controller. Using the weight distribution hitch/anti-sway it pulls adequately enough. Towed it across Florida and back no problems. My Starcraft Hybrid is very used so not a real good comparison. We do like it though!
