Even if you are only going to stay there a week or two the cost for the month rate AND being able to leave your RV there 'prior' to your arrival back will most likely be less than your actual week stay and the cost of a separate storage lot fee. X2 Even if does cost a few dollars more, you don't have to worry about packing everything a up when you leave and then put it all back up when you get back to your camper. It will be all set up and ready to have more fun in the sun.Re: Useful advice for long term RV living Dog Folks wrote: Don't over pack or worry about forgetting something. There is a WalMart in almost every town to fill in with any forgotten items. Don't sweat the small stuff. Soon you will realize it ALL is small stuff. Have a good attitude and have fun. If the rear is sitting lower than the front it is usually overloaded and air bags will not keep it from being overloaded. My Dually sits "level" with 4,500# pin weight it is not overloaded I added airbags to help even out the rough roads and only air them to 30#. That pressure does not change ride height and makes the fide smoother. Most of the time airbags are a BandAid. Get the proper TV for your RV. Unless you did like me. I added 2 inch front level blocks to my front end so it would ride level when I'm not towing. Then I added air bags to rear to get off overload springs.Re: Camping world coming to Memphis Duck wrote: Enough about Camping World, where is the best place to get BBQ ribs in Memphis? Got my new keys in 3daysRe: First Trip on the Books..Thoughts and questionsWe were at two different state parks this past weekend. The first park we were at, we had trouble with the fridge not cooling well on as. We used propane and it ran great. As worked a little harder to keep up. When we got to the second park hooked everything up and all ran great. Fridge cooled great ac kept it cool. The best we can figure is that we were not getting all the, power we needed. I would sugest before you do a lot of $$$ work try it all out at another park.Re: Pam cooking spray austinjenna wrote: Second the dryer sheets....I wet down the front cap...use wet dryer sheets....very little rubbing and they all come o X2 on the dryer sheets X3 along with good wax job to startRe: Bad day? ryoung wrote: OP wrote: I know there is a lot of good info on this web site, but if all they want to do is complain, then why come here and try to bring everyone else day down? First of all, you are also "complaining" by posting. Second, if it "brings your day down", don't read it. Hells fire, find something else to do if it has that much effect on you. ryoung First I'm not complaint, just asking. Second I said TRY and bring down everyone's day I hope you have a great day.Re: Update: On my RV Building Plans.... myrvplans1 wrote: bound4fl wrote: WOW reading this thread is like watching a train wreck. I see people complain about GS this or that, but they are not even members . I know there is a lot of good info on this web site, but if all they want to do is complain, then why come here and try to bring everyone else day down? There are other web sites that are not part of GS and they can have a real good day there learning something new. OK rant over off my soap box. Have a great day. FYI Just so you know before you start pointing fingers 'erroneously'. Having the GS logo and clickable advertising membership link under RV net members names on this forum is an OPTION. I choose not to broadcast what memberships/services I belong to and pay for on a public forum. Nor do I choose to have a clickable 'advertising' link profiting anyone's company associated with my forum name. I most likely pay for more different GS services then you do, just don't see the need to broadcast it publicly with their company logo. As do MANY other forum members. Your apology is accepted.:B Since you assume( that I'm pointing fingers) I'm talking about the people who state they are NOT members or never will be. I think it is great that you don't advertise for the company's that you pay money to. That is your choice. I only pay for a couple of GS services.(just the ones I need or use) And yes I do accept your apology for the assumption that I was talking about you. Have a great day and safe travels. :-)
