Don't move!!!! You need to put away your power cord!!....... Enjoy your trip! Send us all postcards.... PatRe: Avoid Silverton ColoradoThere are a lot of trails in the area. Very unique and popular place. The trail riders will adapt to enjoy the area. Rental companies may have to move outside the city limits. PatCottonwood Trees and their SeedsWill be parked in the middle of a bunch Cottonwood Trees this summer. Need ideas that have worked to try and keep the seeds out of the roof a/c. Thanks! PatRe: Satellite Finder app for IPhone"Dish for My RV", app.Re: Do you sanitize your black tank?About a year ago, I needed the black tank dump valve replaced. Found a mobile mechanic that would do the work. He said his rate would depend on how "dirty" he got and gave the price range. He could not come out for several days. I had the "rotary spray nozzle" that had been plugged up for several years. The RV at that time had a straight shot down thru the toilet to the tank. I had the wand that one sticks down thru the toilet. Just hadn't used it in a few years. So, I flushed and flushed with the trailer tongue as high as I could get it and as low as I could get it. I had crystal clear water coming out of the black tank. So, I filled the tank up one more time. When the mobile mechanic showed up, I dumped the one last time and he was very happy to see clear water in the line. There was still a mild odor in the tank. To wrap things up, that wand puts out a lot of pressure and easily reaches the roof, sides and all 4 corners of the black tank. I doubt the rotary rinse can compare. I do add product that does help with the smell.Re: RGVLast year, there is a "newspaper" full of activities within the RGV rv parks. You are welcome to visit any of the events at any rv park. I don't remember if it included other places of interest. Maybe someone will jump in and clarify. Need a dentist? PatRe: Building fence post sewer hose storage. Need 5.5" caps marty1300 wrote: My Lowe’s had the post but not the cap, they ordered it for me. Marty Thanks for the info. PatRe: Building fence post sewer hose storage. Need 5.5" capsMy old set had the rain gutter you are using. Lowes and HD had a different brand and shape in stock. I used them to support the sewer hose after setting up. Currently, I purchased plastic 3x4" downspout and cut out one side for the sewer support. I'll keep looking for the old style gutter as it fit well in the fence post when stored. Pat Tom_M wrote: I used a router to cut slots in the bottom to act like a spring. Short screws act as pins that go through holes in the cap to hold in place. A length of vinyl gutter acts as slide out tray. Re: Building fence post sewer hose storage. Need 5.5" capsThanks for the additional images! I'm going to order parts through Lowes. The hangers will be easy to build. Thanks!!! Pat rhagfo wrote: Jay Pat wrote: rhagfo wrote: Jay Pat wrote: Using 5" square plastic post. Can't find 5.5" plastic caps.... Interested in other ideas for different cap material. Thanks! Pat Is this what you are looking for?? We got ours and post at lowes. This looks exactly like what I had on the previous rv. The cap was large enough to put the hinge on inside the cap and still had enough room for the cap to close over the post. Are your caps 5" or 5.5"? All I can find are labeled 5" caps. They are 5" caps, they have a slight modification to the bottom to close. As to the Valterra A04-5094BK EZ Hose Adjustable Hose Carrier - 50" to 94" it is only 4-1/2" in diameter so most likely going to get the elbow fitting in the tube. ALL of my stinky Slinky parts go in the fence post.
