Hold on and have faith. Years ago, my husband and I had a dog named Trigger that had to be treated for heartworm. She did not have eggs in her blood at the time they tested her at the shelter, but had heartwoem in her heart. She reacted to preventive heartworm pills. That is how we found out. The heartworm treatment was well worth the time we could have with her. It so wonderful that your dog has your comfort and is not out in the wilderness alone. Things may seem rough now, but your dog has hit the doggie lottery in finding you. You will have that with you forever.249Views0likes0Comments
