I've had both FW & TT The FW tows and turns nicer than a tt in my opinion the problem for me is I like a crew cab truck and I use my truck not just for towing. If you have a FW you should really have an 8ft box that makes for a long truck for parking say at walmart etc. You also loose the back bed for hauling anything else and the hitch is always in the road and I like a cap on the truck to keep things dry so my opinion its 6 of 1 or half dozen of the other. I now have a TT TH and love it. I tow with a crew cab 6.5 ft box with a tall fiberglass cap topper you can put a lot of stuff in the back of the truck! I read all or most of the posts about your situation and there were many. It depends how much you like your MH to spend a lot of money as some said the value of the unit can out way the expense. Have you given any thought of parting out the unit the 454 even blown up is worth at least $300.00 and a good used 4l80e is worth 4to5 hundred and gas electric fridge,tires,cat converter,etc. plus many other parts. But I were to fix the unit I would do the motor rebuild and go camping again. Run the tranny till it goes bad might last 100,000 miles trannys are easy to take out but they are expensive to have rebuilt.No matter what you do get back to camping and enjoy327Views0likes0CommentsRe: Toy Hauler Information Overload! I would seriously look at work & play they are well built no frills unit. They are affordable as well. As for all units there are good and bad. I used to work at a dealership that sold fusion's,w&p,raptor's and i can say the w&p had very few issues compared to the other brands.451Views0likes0Comments
