Check payload on the 2500. with cummins and 4wd you are down to a figure close to a fiver pin weight. on my 2015 it was 2300 lbs payload. consider 3500
Look at truck payload. A 2500 Ram with cummins and 4wd has only 2300 lbs payload. Put 5th wheel pin weight of 2k on that, and you are fully loaded with the wife on board.
