Subscribing.Re: Furnace problemssounds like something is stopping up the airflow. I live in the delta and we have lady bugs terribly bad. They've gotten into my exhaust before and completely clogged the furnace. I had to have furnace taken out and cleaned to make it work again. Could also be a dirt dauber clogging it.Re: those looking at generatorsWell, i ordered it. LOL. I'll let you guys know this weekend whether it will run it or not.Re: those looking at generatorsUgh, decisions..decisions. Do i buy and hope it will run a 15K? I hate to not buy it at this price.Re: those looking at generatorsJust curious, do you think that the 3100W is enough to start/run a 15000 BTU AC? My new trailer is a 50 amp with the upgraded main A/C and secondary 13500 in the front. I know it wont run both, but will i be wasting my money trying to run the main unit?Re: decided on floorplan, now which manufacturer, need adviceThe reason i went with Jayco was purely past experience with their trailers. I'm sure everyone makes a quality unit though. For me, the Jayco was the one that first spurred my interest in upgrading trailers and after looking at many similar floor plans, i was able to get the best deal on the Jayco. Just curious. What is your tow vehicle? These are beastly trailers and will need at least a 3/4 ton to tow IMO.Re: decided on floorplan, now which manufacturer, need adviceBigbull, Sorry, i mis-spoke. I actually looked at the Coachmen Freedom Express 320BHDSLE. I didnt like the TV position in that one at all. It was 90 degrees to the sofa.Re: decided on floorplan, now which manufacturer, need adviceI was actually in the exact same position as you a month ago. I ended up purchasing the Jayco Jayflight 33RBTS after comparing it to the Keystone and Grand Design. I absolutely love it. I couldnt see the point in paying so much more for the other two. I've owned 2 Jayco's and have never had any issues out of either.Re: Towing 35+ footerThank you all for the comments. I truly appreciate the candor and discussions. Its the exact same conversation my wife and i have had. I think we are going to stick with a TT though. I just dont want to be "negligent" on GVWR. I would love a 5er, but i can get almost the exact same floor plan for about 10K less and stay within specs. There's no doubt that my truck will pull it. I was just curious about sway and tight spots. Thanks again. This forum is a wonderful source of information.Re: Towing 35+ footerif you go strictly by the numbers on a 5er, i'm over payload. I'm still within all other specs. FGAWR, RGAWR, towing cap., tires, ets. Its just the fact they rate it at a 10000 lb vehicle. I'm the guy that hopes for the best and plans for the worst. I dont want something to happen where i'm in a situation (accident, fatality, etc) and Highway Patrol drags me to a scale and says i was "negligent" in towing and insurance doesnt cover, civil lawsuits, etc.
