"DEAL" #1 NEW 2017 Heart Land North Trail 28DBSS - Well loaded with options. One slide, rear bunks. $11,400 Difference after selling my trailer outright "DEAL" #2 USED 2015 Heart Land Wilderness 2775RB - Well loaded with options, I have throughly checked it out everything is in perfect condition, works fine and it also looks immaculate. Two slides and island kitchen, no rear bunks and second door. It's from a dealer but have spoken with previous owners, They used it for about 10 nights, too big and traded it for something smaller. They loved it, no problems issues or complaints. Obviously no warranty. $5,600 Difference after selling my trailer. I realize there's floor plan differences but we like and can live with and afford both. We can adapt to having or not having the rear bunks. We have a home in a stae with no sales tax so that's not making a difference. My question is for pure advice. Does one stand out as a great deal and make more sense financially or other wise? We're really on the fence and torn!! HELP!!Re: Help analyzing BEST DEAL??.Re: Question about WD HitchI have air bags also but I had the same question recently and it was explained to me like this: Air bags will raise your rear end to level the pickup but the weight remains concentrated on the rear axle. WD Hitch will shift weight off of the rear to the front (axels). I hope I'm correct and right!Help analyzing BEST DEAL??I'm seeking advice on the following 2 deals. Aside from the differences shown below Selling my 2014 Forest River outright. "DEAL" #1 NEW 2017 Heart Land North Trail 28DBSS - Well loaded with options. HELP!! :) Thanks!!Re: Which purchase makes more sense?Trading off a Forest River HW31SCHT. High wall tent camper (loaded) with front cargo / ATV deck. Want more space and tired of cold nights at 10,000' in the Colorado Mountains! Ready for some comfort!Re: Which purchase makes more sense?Update - The dealer DID have the previous owner call me. They spent all of 8 nights in it,... absolutely no problems, they raved (good) about it, kept it covered over the winter and merely wanted something smaller.Re: Which purchase makes more sense? No warranty, but I know trailers and the used one checks out perfectly. I tracked down previous owner and they said had no issues,.. only traded it for a Class A. Maybe I mis stated my question,.... both units have pros and cons floor plan wise,... one used and one new. Given the $6000 price difference is there a glaring "way to go" that I'm not seeing? Is the Thor - Heartland Lightweight a good way to go?Re: Which purchase makes more sense? That's our dilemma,...we like and could live with either floor plan. Wondering if the final prices (as far as value) and new / used etc seem to be a factor that I'm not seeing?Re: New camper owner - help with few issues?!As for the heater not lighting, purge your propane line (as suggested above) and,... are you connected to power OR do you have your batteries connected? It needs a power source.Re: Which purchase makes more sense?80% of the time, just the 2 of us. A few times a year the kids would come. With one they have rear bunks,.... couch and dinette in the other. In person the baths are similar, one has SMALL tub, the Wilderness has shower (which we prefer). From a financial standpoint is the NEW North Trail worth the extra almost $6,000 or is the dual slide as hot a deal as it appears to be?
