Sorry, I didn't mention that I did close the T-valve from the tank so the pump would pull antifreeze. When I open the faucet, I hear gurgling and it spits a little antifreeze, so it must be drawing some, but definitely not like it should. Do I need to test if it will pump water from the tank? I drained the tank and closed the low point valves. I closed the water heater bypass valve and my RV has a tank bypass hose already installed. I put the bypass hose in the jug of antifreeze, closed all of the faucets, and started the pump. For some reason, it's not pumping any antifreeze. I have an 31' fifth wheel bunkhouse model. The bunks are in the very rear and when the kids even turn in their beds, the entire unit shakes. I stabilize the 5th wheel with the rear scissor stabilizers and 4 of the standard aluminum threaded stabilizers. I also use the X-chocks. It's not a huge deal that it moves, but I thought I'd check if there's stabilizing insider secrets that might help me sleep in a little longer. Thanks!3.1KViews0likes12CommentsWhere to RV in Ohio?
My job is moving me from California to Central Ohio. I've always RVd in/near the mountains or the coast, so I'm hoping someone can convince me to keep my 5th wheel after I move there. Do folks enjoy their RVs in those parts or do they sink into deep RV withdrawal syndrome? I would love to hear perspectives. Thanks all, very helpful. I visited the RV to take some pics and played around with the thermostats a little. There is no "auto" setting on the Dometic digital thermostat, so I put it on 'furnace' and the furnace kicked on, but the overhead fan did not, which is what I was hoping.959Views0likes0Comments
