We are a family of 9, so at least 9 fishing poles, but usually more, because my hubby will have a few different types of rods and also likes to have a couple extra, just in case. Also a couple of those will be kid rods. We have a TT and no long cross camper storage bays. (I wish!) We do have a large storage area under the RV queen bed that lifts up, but is only accessible from indoors. The exterior storage is under one of the dinette benches and under the rear bunk bed, but that also has the water heater and maybe the furnace under there. Oh, and needs to be fairly cheap. Ideas? i have seen one mod for fishing poles where they strapped a pvc tube to the bumper. i think it was 6" pvc.Re: Cool Mods - Thread restored 10/18/2012oopsRe: Cool Mods - Thread restored 10/18/2012 Fisherguy wrote: Bit Bucket wrote: I can load the trailer in ways that easily add or subtract about 150 lbs from the tongue weight, which tells you how much beer and other unnecesary *stuff* we carry with us. :B Beer is never unnecessary! :) fisherguy...the unnecessary stuff is the kids, the dog, etc.Re: Cool Mods - Thread restored 10/18/2012question from the DW. we did one side of the trailer with tint. when she saw it she asked does it clear up or stay foggy. my answer was it should clear up, (from previous installs on my car), it does clear up right? and how long did it take to see the clear up?Re: Cool Mods - Thread restored 10/18/2012 iowassfan wrote: locknload223 wrote: Good idea painting the inside. Let us know how much darker it is inside after you install it. I'm installing two this week. Installed today in the 100 degree wheater. Thank god it only took me about 30 minutes to intall both vent covers. There is a night and day difference with the painted vs factory cover. Still lets in some light but no were near the 2nd cover. is the light from the vent sides and bottom (that let the air flow) or from the direct sun on the top of the vent?Re: Cool Mods - Thread restored 10/18/2012 HedoTravelers wrote: Nice job! :) I ordered a bunch of those lights but I have been on vacation for a week & have a couple more to go. When I get home I will put them on & post a pic. I got the white light version. The colored ones were a bit to much for my taste. I am going to see if I can rig up a dimmer for them so I can adjust the light as needed. I am also going to experiment with adding them to my awning. They are so small I could roll them right up and never remove them. OOOOOOO....mood lighting....Re: Cool Mods - Thread restored 10/18/2012 welsteach wrote: I just added an Adjust-a-Shower rod by Stromberg-Carlson. I can now move my shower rod into the tub with a push of a finger (creating more room in the tiny bathroom) or outside the shower (creating more shower space in the shower itself). It was a pain to install (would be much better with electric drill), but WELL worth it. My shower last night felt almost luxurious. It is similar to the bent shower rods in hotel rooms, except that it can move in and out. It is heavy duty metal, not plastic, which I thought it might be. I would recommend it. if you liked that then add an Oxygenics Body Spa RV Showerhead you wont ever want to leave the shower. well worth the money also.Re: Cool Mods - Thread restored 10/18/2012should be able to get them all done in a weekend if you work fast....Re: Cool Mods - Thread restored 10/18/2012JTCR thanks for the advice we were going to buy the white one....
