Good question. Mine freezes up occasionally too. I turn down the temp in fridge and it helps. also tried adjusting the thermo slide on the fin, still got ice. I keep an eye on it and take it out to dump the ice out when it freezes over.

There should be a plug in the arm going up to the motor. just pull the 2 ends and it should come apart. mine took some pulling to finally get it unplugged.

Progressive EMS. Lifetime Warranty, rated for your rv 30 or 50 amp. hardwired or portable is a matter of choice. I like the portable. I don't use water filter since we only shower and wash dishes with campsite water.

been using 27 gal thetford for last 7 years, black and grey water. with no problems. main thing is make sure you get a 4 wheel model. no lifting and easier to move around.

light could be out. leave it on and see if water heats up. quicker way would be to use a volt meter to the leads of the element and check voltage.

I replaced the outer bolt (closest to side of truck) on the handle with an eye bolt (same size). hook my caribeaner clip on to that.
