I've been using Happy Campers for the last few years with great results. No smell from black tank even when flushing. Nice thing about Happy Campers is there's no smell to it, so it's not masking the black tank smell, it's eliminating it.Re: Ordering camp chairs at the storeYou guys crack me up. Amusing how far this thread has continued after I received the chairs I wanted. They are exactly what I wanted and expected so I will not be returning them. But if I did need to return something as large as two camp chairs I wouldn't want to deal with returning them to Amazon or another mail order retailer. I'm going on a camping trip next week and I'll be enjoying these chairs. I'll check back in a couple of weeks and see if you guys are still at it here. :-)Re: Toyo Tires for Our Tioga 26QI have used Toyo tires on a couple of cars over the years, but never on my motorhome (only because it's not time to replace the MH tires yet). I've had great results with Toyo passenger tires. Smooth ride, good tread life. Personally I would not hesitate to use Toyo tires on my motorhome.Re: Ordering camp chairs at the storeFinal followup report: I was contacted by phone by two regional managers who stepped in and made sure my local store received the chairs I wanted. I picked them up today. End of story.Re: Ordering camp chairs at the store Camper Ken wrote: Two weeks ago I ordered two camp chairs at a Camping World store. This was on a Sunday and was told they'd be in the following Thursday and I'd get a phone call confirming their arrival. No call so I went to the store the following Saturday. After 20 minutes of two associates searching the back room I was told the order must not have gone in and the "allocation" (as they called it) would be placed again and the chairs would be in the following Thursday. The following Friday (today) I again went to the store, and again was told the order (allocation) had not been placed. This time one of the managers (Eric) assured me the chairs would definitely be ordered and I could call him Tuesday to verifiy they're on the way. Come Tueday, we'll see. Stay tuned. It's now 10pm on Tuesday June 18th. Eric, the manager I spoke with last Friday who put in another allocation for the two chairs I want said to call him today and he would verify the order is in progress. I called twice this afternoon, got his voice mail, left messages each time but did not hear back. He said last Friday that he's off on Wednesday and Thursday, leaving no option but to check again this Friday. I'm more than annoyed to say the least. I really want this particular style of chair.Re: Ordering camp chairs at the storeTo those who responded offering advice of other sources for the chairs I ordered... 1. The chairs I want are not available at Walmart. I do not want to mail order from a source such as Amazon, since I want to try out the chairs and return to a local store if necessary. 2. I checked several sources for the chairs. They are not cheaper at Amazon or other camping or sporting goods stores. The price on these specific chairs may very by 2 or 3 dollars depending on the source.Ordering camp chairs at the storeTwo weeks ago I ordered two camp chairs at a Camping World store. After working as a service advisor at a major RV service center I've seen most of the brands and models out there and seen the many of the numerous issues. Overall in the "affordable" range for us middle class folks, I recommend Winnebago hands down. (That's what I own). As someone else said, stay away from anything made by Thor.Re: Mud Dauber/Insect Screen for Winnebago VIEW Butch50 wrote: Old-Biscuit wrote: Butch50 wrote: Good luck finding any for the fridge. I had a 2015 View 24V and never did find any for it. Also I never understood why Winnebago put the fridge in with a top side vent. This vents the fridge right under the edge of the awning. There was no reason for doing a side vent. It should have been a roof vent. A roof vent is much more effective on cooling than a side vent. The side vent should only be used when the fridge is in a slideout which on our units is not the case. I'm having trouble finding one for my 12CF fridge in my Nexus. It has the center section of vent with a smaller opening on each side. The only thing I could think on it would be getting 2 sets and cutting one set in half for each small section. Structural issues with roof? I don't know, but the roof was a full walk on roof so your guess is as good as mine. Perhaps they are trying to keep as much roof space available for solar panels. The dealer installed mine almost where a roof top fridge vent would be. When I worked at a major RV dealer as a "delivery guide", giving the walk-around and walk-through to new buyers, we always suggested putting a dog flea collar in the fridge and water heater compartments. Bugs, spiders, bees, etc. don't like the smell of it apparently. I've been doing it for over ten years with the different motorhomes I've owned, and never had an insect problem in those compartments. At the beginning of each season I cut a new dog flea collar in half and put a half in the outside fridge and wager heater compartment.Re: RV insuranceWe had National General for a couple of years. This year's premium was significantly higher. Switched to Progessive for a much better rate. BUT REMEMBER... You don't know how good the insurance company you select is until you need to file a claim. :-)
