I was actually looking for non-company reviews and wondering why I can't find any on either the RV or the manufacturerAugusta RVAny one ever see any reviews on Augusta RV 5th wheels. We saw an Augusta Ambition over the weekend that looked great but can not seem to find any information on the company or any reviewsRe: Best All Year Four Seasons Full Time Fifth WheelsThe best thing about full timing is you do not have to be concerned, travel with the moderate temps.Re: residential fridges. We use the plastic shoeboxes that cost about a dollar to organize while traveling. We also strap the doors closed but I see the newer models have a locking or strapping mechanism already built inRe: Where to stay in winterWe stay in Mesa Arizona for the winter, there are many parks to choose from with all the amenities anyone could want. They average about 650 a month plus electric which we spend about 60 a month. It may get down to 35 degrees once in a while but it has been pretty rare the last 15 years. Tucson will get 15 to 20 degrees colder as it is a higher elevation. If that is too cold then Yuma would be your best Arizona bet. The Mesa and Phoenix parks will fill up quickly in Feb with all the MLB spring training fans coming to town. The biggest difference between Arizona and Florida is the humidity about 20% in AZ.Re: Is a long bed a requirement for pulling a 5th wheel? We have dealt with La Mesa RV in Phoenix twice and feel pretty good with what we have. The service department in Mesa is better than the 75th Ave. Depends on what brand FW you want if new, or if used you would probably be better off buying from an individual. Three are many free RV shows in Phoenix that let you talk with many dealers and get some great dealsRe: Is a long bed a requirement for pulling a 5th wheel?I would definitely recommend a long bed, it gives us extra storage space for equipment plus it allows for a large tool box/extra fuel tank behind the cab.Re: data Usage for full timers using wireless internet service. We have a Verizon 15 gig plan with 3 smartphones a laptop and a tablet and use all of it every month with out streaming any movies or music. All devices have update only on wifi and no matter how bad the campground wifi is it will usually update the devices late at night. Other wifi sources are Target, most McDonalds, Staples and Office Depo-Max. I did find that after switching to Verizon that they charge usage at a much higher rate than Sprint. What I used to do with Sprint I used less than 6 gigs, to do the same on Verizon is at least 9 assuming the phones all use 2 each.Re: Which 5th Wheel for Full TimeingWe have a 2015 Heartland Big Horn 3875 FB and just love it. The powder room makes it easy to stop anywhere on the road with out moving any slides. We are extremely happy with the quality of this line and would recommend to anyone. The 42.5 foot length does limit some campgrounds, but for full timing it has plenty of storage. Hope this helps you and good luck on your decision.Re: 2014 Heartland BigHorn 3875FB w/ Yeti package...Value?We purchased a 2015 Bighorn 3875FB that was listed at $94,800 but does not have the Yeti package and the final price with the hitch installed in our truck was $65,500. This may give you an idea on value of a used. RV's lose there value quickly as we have found out from upgrading and trading in.
