They must fix thousands of RVs every day. Do the math. The complaints are minuscule. They train their people, they stand behind their work, and my experience across the country is they are a pleasure to work with. They participate in the Industry as a whole. I use them. Ask your self as an RV'r. If they were not there, the industry would far worse off. Just my opinion.Re: Coach Net vs Good SamGood Sam all the way. Never an issue, timely, courteous. 5 StarsRe: Trouble getting serviceJust so you know the RV plants and manufacturers are not at full strength. If a dealership can't get responses on parts, what are they to do. Its always blame the dealer. Also I have never had anything but exemplary service and respect from the many Camping World stores I have been in. I look at it this way, if you are on the road away from the dealer you bought your RV from and run into trouble, if there was not a Camping World close you are screwed. Good luck getting getting any other dealer to even give a hoot.Re: Price to expect if a RV dealer buys my coachGood dealers will buy your motorhome outright if its something they can use. You should take it to any Camping World. They gave me a very fair price. You can't expect them to pay you retail. Any RV you sell to a dealer has to go through the shop. They will pay you NADA wholesale which is likely better than if it went to an auction and you won't get that selling it privately. The reason you should go to a dealer is they handle all the paperwork, title, etc. Good luck.Re: News of RV sales down leading indicator to a recession. The major RV retailers are still getting every trailer or motorhome they can get their hands on.Re: Theft from dealershipI agree with Downtheavenue. While it does reflect badly, I don't know how a reasonable person could hold a company responsible for the actions of an individual in an instance like this. I am sure it was dealt with at his company.Re: Confessions of an RV SalesmanThese articles are just "click bait" to promote the people/businesses running ads on their site. I know many RV salespeople, many are my friends and I would trust them more than someone who publishes an anonymously written slam piece. You can replace RV Salesperson with anything, Car Salesperson, Pharmacist, Doctor, roofer, mechanic, anything. You make up your own mind who you want to deal with and if you feel good about it you win. Nice try Mac or whatever your name really is.Re: Camping World survey by RV Travel (not so good) NJRVer wrote: Kansas Climber wrote: No idea who the RV Travel Survey people are either. Never heard of them. My bet is they tried to sell their company and Camping World said no. RV Travel puts out an excellent newsletter every week. Your last sentence is down right laughable. So its laughable that someone who RVs has never heard of them? Excuse me Mr.RV Knowitall. Excellent newsletter is in the mind of the reader. I read the last one and was not impressed. But what do I know.Re: Camping World survey by RV Travel (not so good)Most people who reply to blind surveys like this have an ax to grind. People who are satisfied don't have the time. Try the same survey for any other company that's in the RV business and my bet is its worse. Give Camping World some credit, they do a great service for the RV'r. Unlike many other companies (General just to name one) Camping World will work on your RV even if you didn't buy it from them. Not everyone does that. No idea who the RV Travel Survey people are either. Never heard of them. My bet is they tried to sell their company and Camping World said no. I will say that I have seen the star ratings for Camping World Dealerships continue to rise. I have been a very satisfied customer for many years and will continue to be.Re: Iowa RV dealer blasts Camping World tacticsfj12ryder - they take no responsibility for any factual accounts of the "conversation". I'm just a old farmer but being so selective as to what they portrayed yells made up to me. Bottom line - desperation and fear from a dealer losing market.
