It's a long story that includes disabled parents, maturing children, changing work schedules, changing jobs blah, blah, blah. So I would be envious of anyone who gets to camp. Be glad you're outdoors and enjoying the good life no matter what sort of shelter you find yourself in. My day will come again and I'll be camping in something. Probably something with a "real" bathroom according to my wife and daughter. I do miss my Cub 23bh, though!Re: HEY we need a sticky for our TT pics!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!If the inside looks as good as the outside, I'd say you hooked yourself a good one. Congratulations!Re: ~Post your campsite photos here~ clkelley564 wrote: Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground, Site 2014, Water, Electric, Cable, short distance to comfort station. I LOVE those little trailers! If I didn't have so many kids I'd be looking at one of those myself. That's awesome how you got the whole thing underneath the canopy! I dig that rear kitchen as well. We stayed in the Fort Wilderness cabins about 10 years ago, and I'm getting ready to try out the campground before too long. Looks great!Re: HEY we need a sticky for our TT pics!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Mr.Usa wrote: Was trying to figure out a mod to store some fishing poles but they fit real nice behind the (slideout) couch, No mod needed :) I've seen people use the pass through storage and some fishing pole wall hangers. Just mount them horizontally instead of vertically. I'm thinking of doing something like that for our roasting forks.Re: Show your mods!!The other thread is great, but I think we need one for strictly HTT mods (even though some of these could be done on any trailer), since some people might not frequent the TT forums. Here's a couple of mods we did over the last few months. Electric Tongue Jack. Digital Thermostat: Rails and ladder for the bunkbeds: Don't know if this one counts as a "mod" or not, but we also installed a 30 amp service for the camper: Installed Pop Up Gizmos and Reflectix inserts under the bunks and in the windows of the bunks: Got some Bal Tire Locking Chocks to eliminate the "wiggle": Got a few more ideas floating around for some mods this off-season, too.Re: post pictures of your HTTFleetwood should jump all over Forest River for stealing the graphics for the R-Pod from the Orbit.:DRe: HEY we need a sticky for our TT pics!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!dreadcptflint, Any chance of seeing the inside of that trailer? It looks really cool. Those have entry doors on both sides don't they?Re: post pictures of your HTTHere it is. I brought it home yesterday. Never hauled anything this large before in my life. I know it's nowhere near as large as some of the monster rigs out there, but it's huge to me! Anyway, here it is. Sorry, I know that was a ton of photos! But I'm crazy excited over this trailer!Re: Post your tow vehicle pics hereHere's my new (to me) ride. A 2000 Suburban LT, 5.3 Vortec V-8, 3.73 RAR (considering changing to a 4.10) I don't have any interior shots yet. I'll post some when I can. Been wanting a Suburban for a long time. With 3 kids the extended cab pick ups weren't going to work for us. 3 kids crammed that tightly for an extended trip? No thanks, brother! My DW and I came across this little number on New Year's Eve, and now it's sitting in my garage! Lots better then the Windstar that it replaced. Plus, now I don't have to borrow my Dad's Explorer to haul my pop up when I want to go camping! Also, we're looking at getting a larger HTT in the very near future (maybe next weekend!) and this should handle the task just fine. But the best thing of all is it's completely paid for!
