I guess it goes along with the new Democratic ways.Re: RV Magazinewhy was my post deleted?Re: Replacement magazineYou will not get "Trailer Life" anymore. The new rag is "RV Magazine". You will be greatly disappointed in the new publication, as I was. Bring back "Trailer Life". The new rag is ****! Just fluff and no interest stories!...........thanks Marcus?Re: Getting close to a TTHusky Centerline is a good hitch. I have had no problems with mine.Re: Climbing steep grades...If you want to tow, add separate coolers. My dealership had the CHP account with those older Mopars with the 440's. They had Trans coolers, Engine oil coolers, Power steering coolers and a Max cooling package. These would never overheat going up a grade at 120mph. In your case make sure to switch off the A/C when going uphill. You don't need the additional heat from the A/C condenser. Add a trans cooler and disconnect if part of the engine radiator is used for trans cooling. Worst case, I helped a guy with a overheat issue. The radiator was too small to handle the heat, so we used an old windshield washer tank and pump to direct water on the front of the radiator when getting hot, old school but it works.Re: What solar panels, and what charge controller do I need?Gel Cell Batteries will only take 13.9 Volts MAX!....and charge with low amps. I sell Batteries at my Marina/RV Park. Authorized Dealer for most major brands, since 1982. We cut open a Gel Cell after 6 months at 14.4 volts. The Gell was like tough rubber. Toast. With that amount of Solar, you may have a fire issue with Gells.Re: Should I take the RV or not?Cousin Eddie also camped in front of Clark's house in a RV, why not you? Privacy is important.Re: reading transmission fluid dipstickActually the checking of Trans fluid levels is done in 2 steps. First step, check level with Engine off and Trans cold. With pressure bleed down this level will be max. Should be close or slightly over full. Smell the fluid and check color, should not smell burnt and show a cherry color. 2nd step, warm up Engine/Trans, run through all gears to bleed any air bubbles out, shift to neutral with parking brake on. This will be your operating level. After a few times you will be able to check Trans level hot or cold. Some Trans bleed pressure down back into the pan, some hold in servos, valve body and galleys.Re: Drawing water from a lakeIf you have no other choice for water, use a Marine Water Maker. It will take some nasty water and clean it up to drink. Used worldwide in Marine industry. Marine water makers due require maintenance, power and a drain line.Re: weight distributingGo with the 1500 bars, you will have a rough ride. 1200 bars smother but less weight transfer-
