We stayed at Collier Memorial S.P. south of the lake. F-H, shade, decent sites. We ate lunch at the inside/sit down/full service restaurant at Crater and had good food and service. Not the snack bar deck. The little town of Bandon, S. of Coos Bay, is very nice and peaceful. Good restaurants, shops, and farmer's market. Scenery is great. Several so-so rv parks but also a St. Park right at edge of town. Enjoy your trip! Re: Autosocks (chain replacements) ExperienceLast I read, in Oregon when chains or snow tires are required, autosocks do not meet this requirement.
