You have to remove the componants between the tanks and blocks. Then you should be able to slide one or the other back or forward to slide it out the side opening. Once one is out, the other can be removed through the same side opening. :)Re: No power to in dash radio MamaGoose wrote: SuzzeeeQ2012 wrote: we have a switch in our bedroom too, I'll try that. Our switch in our bedroom just turns on the speakers in the bedroom. Each motorhome is different, though. We're having quite a time learning with ours. We did get our radio working by fixing the in line fuse near the battery. Who would have a thought a radio would require so many fuses? As stated earlier, the BCC is the interface system for the coach to chassis battery systems. Thus the radio fuse originates there and then goes up to the dash radio. You most likely have an inline fuse behind the radio also, but the one I ID'ed for you is the one that indeed has a reputation for the holder loosing contact. Glad you got it squared away. BobRe: No power to in dash radio MamaGoose wrote: Thanks, Bob. Where is the BCC box in your motorhome? Not sure on your diesel. I believe it could be in or near the utility compartment. Friends diesel it is one compartment forward of the utility compartment leftside. The box is about 1ft. square and 4 or 5 inches deep. The front cover is held on by two toggle lever latches. The fuse socket they use tends to get loose and lose contact with the fuse terminals. Fuse may be fine or not. The BCC is the interface of the coach between most of the chassis and coach 12V circuits. Ours is in a compartment on right side forward of the door, but ours is a gas coach.... Look around you will find it.... :) Also be advised that if you call Fleetwood with your FIN number they will send you schematics and layouts for your coach free of charge. They can be very helpful in situations such as you have going on. Good Luck with your efforts.Re: No power to in dash radioThe radio fuse is just outside the (B)attery (C)ontrol (C)enter box as an inline fuse labeled as such. Usually a black plug-in type fuse housing. Fleetwood does this for some reason unknown, but it is hard to find if you don't know where to look. I have fixed several in recent times. Find your BCC black box and it will be right there outside of it. :)Re: Retracting Slide in Winter WonderlandBeen there done that: Just got out a hose and hooked up to hot water low point. Hosed the ice and snow off and closed the slide.... :)Re: Sources for Used MohosShabbona Creek RV He will deal on used Class "A" coaches and has quite a few on hand all the time. Ask for "Tom".... :)Re: Firearms in RVBest updated regularly info I know of. Still waiting to find an error in their info. They do a great job for everyone... :)Re: Differential serviceIf you are aware of the particle counts that occur in oils without any filtration, you will change it at least once to get the break-in particles out. The manufacturers don't care about your long-term life in gearboxes.... I change mine at 10,000 from new and then every 50,000 going forward. The only filtration in most diffs is a simple magnet to try and catch the big chunks.... :) If it doesn't have a drain plug, just remove the bottom third member attaching bolt to drain it, after you drive it to get it warmed up good. :)Re: Dish picture slightly wavy in the front bedroom...The Dish Hopper and Joeys use the RG-6 to carry HD to each Joey/TV in the system allowing lots of new possibilities for RV use. Dish says don't use them in RVs, but as usual it is just that they contain hard drives. So just don't power them when moving. Just don't tell Dish what you are doing.... :) Our 722 DVRs have worked fine for years now in our Motor Home and of course they contain Hard Drives..... they are not powered while moving....Re: Allison Tran williamp321 wrote: Bob u hit the nail on the head My Abs lite on the dash came on and its erratic also. Taking it in the shop tomorrow to put a computer on it to fine out about the abs lite Thanks. I expect that it could even be the brake caliper problems causing it if you haven't had the brake calipers all replaced per the Workhorse recall. These darn vehicles now days have everything tied together by networked controllers. Good luck fixing them yourself anymore.... :) Hope you get it figured out.... :)
