I just received new member cards in the mail yesterday, and the same thing has happened to me! This is my forum ID, I was the one who signed up and paid for the Good Sam Club, the welcome letter was addressed to me, but both membership cards have my husband's name on it. I must admit that my initial reaction was that this happened to me because I was a woman, until I saw this post. Admin, can I also receive new membership cards through this forum, or do I need to contact Good Sam directly? SueRe: Do you keep Cat caged while traveling rockhillmanor wrote: Do you keep Cat caged while traveling Yup. Soft side crate with open mesh was the only crate my cat finally agreed upon for RV'ing! :B Room for comfy bed, food/water and at the other end litter box. Crate folds up complete flat in a 12" round for out of the way storage when parked at CG. I DIY'd mine to stay in place with piece of plywood with 2 legs to fit in corner of bedroom. Makes for a nice clean place for litter box and to contain cat when needed. I was looking for something like this. Can you tell me the brand name or where you bought it?Re: Another RVer loses their cat....PS Our cat mostly an indoor cat but goes outside our house for (usually) short jaunts on weekends and only when we are home. Usually she sits on the deck or walks around next to the house and comes in within a hour because she gets fed when she goes in. A few times a year, I'm not sure why, she gets it into her head to go wandering, and that's why we never let her out without the loc8tor now. SueRe: Another RVer loses their cat....I went looking for that facebook group and happy to report that the owner found the cat on July 22. People had seen the cat, so she drove a few hours back to the campground. She found the cat, hiding in a drainage pipe, scared, but healthy (did nothing but sleep and eat the next day). Just wanted to report the happy ending. BTW, we have a cat who occasionally likes to wander at home. We have not taken her camping but thinking about it when we get around to doing that big cross-country trip. But the thought of her escaping the trailer terrifies me. A few years ago we bought one of the those loc8tor units - at the time we could only order it directly from the UK company. It works really great as long as you check the batteries often to make sure they haven't died. Sometimes when we go looking for her we don't get a signal so then we have to walk in the opposite direction and eventually get a beep. Now it's gotten so she will come home when she knows we're tracking her (the tag on the collar gives off a high pitch pinging noise.) Pretty cool. Not sure the brand but some tables are wider than they use to be so extra support might be a good idea. Perhaps if only one person is using the are as a bed, I could try moving the back seat cushion to the middle and then the puffy back ones could be placed on the opposite sides and not as noticeable? I'll give that a try. To protect the table, I'd originally thought about buying a sheet of plywood to put in the place of the table, but that would have to be pretty thick and therefore heavy, maybe not such a great idea. I wonder if I could find something the same diameter as the table pillars - shorter of course - and put them under the table just to give it more support. SueRe: Keystone Bullet PremierWe have a 2013 19FBPR and will be using the u-dinette as a bed for the first time next month. I tried putting the table down and fitting in the side cushions but the new design of the cushions with the extra padding (which I do like) means that they end up sitting higher than the seat cushions and it feels rather weird to have that part of the "bed" higher than the rest. I'm considering going out and looking for a piece of foam to fit in that area (on top of the table) instead, except that I have doubts that I can find one with the same density/firmness as the seat cushions. Another thought is to get a piece of cheap foam to fit over the entire dinette area with the hopes that it will make the fatter area feel less so. I'm also concerned over some reports (when googling) of the table cracking. Is this an unusual occurrence? I've been trying to decide if I should come up with some extra support under the table, replace it with a piece of plywood or not worry about it. Any thoughts on the above? SueRe: X-chocks with spread axleI bought an "x-tended" x-chock for my new Keystone Premier which also has the wide stance axles. It fit and worked great, although as others have noted, it's good for stabilization and is convenient when used with levelers, but not a replacement for standard chocks, especially when hitching/unhitching. I found that I needed to use the x-chock "upside down", since the threaded rod comes out really far when the pads are extended all the way, and also it takes a long time to crank it out to the distance you need. So I'd like to figure out how to store it in a mostly extended position, yet still have room for the long rod - it won't fit in a standard sized bin if I try to store it that way.Re: Keystone Bullet PremierHi Everyone, We bought a 19FBPR in early February, but my husband was about to have surgery, so we waited to pick it up this weekend. (And it was a gorgeous weekend!) We camped in it two nights close to the dealer in case there were any problems that we would need to take care of. I needn't have worried, the unit was perfect, but it was still a good idea to practice all the things we'd learned during our walk-through on our own while it was all fresh in our mind. So in short, we love it! We wanted to buy a trailer that wasn't too heavy, wasn't too long, yet comfortable for two of us and an occasional guest. One of my neighbors came over today, dying to see it, and gushed over how nice it was. I was happy to show it off. I had a question for you fellow Premier owners (feels nice to finally say that). The dealer warned us that the propane detector could run down the battery if it's not disconnected, but also said there was no battery disconnect switch on the unit. Is this true, then how long before we have to disconnect the wire from the battery or plug it in at home? Seems like a bit of a pain. So then, can you recommend a convenient battery disconnect switch we can purchase?Re: Keystone Bullet Premier Kansas Kamper wrote: SueMcD wrote: We went to the Northeast RV and Camping show in Hartford yesterday and put a deposit down on a 2013 Premier 19FBPR. :B Sue Nice unit, not to be the Monday morning quarterback but I saw one this past weekend at a dealer in PA....huge discount on a 2012 leftover. http://www.ansleyrv.com/2012-keystone-bullet-19fbpr-new-travel-trailer-pa-i541070 Awsome price, your deposit refundable? We're paying not too much more than that for a 2013. RV show pricing, and also a great deal. Thanks for watching out for me though. ;)Re: Keystone Bullet PremierWe went to the Northeast RV and Camping show in Hartford yesterday and put a deposit down on a 2013 Premier 19FBPR. :B Sue
