Its a Dometic Briskair 2 13.5k non heat pump model and uses the basic square style digital Dometic thermostat with 3 buttons on it. Recently when in "Auto" the compressor kicks on but no fan, it'll run untill I turn it off or it trips the breaker. I then manually have to turn the fan "on" to either low or high and the switch mode to "ac" and the compressor kicks on along with the fan. Later on I can set the Fan to "auto" and set mode to "AC" and itll will cycle on/off as normall. I dont research but havnt found anything definite. Have seen discussions about the fan capacitor needing replacement but I think it could be the thermostat itself seeing how the AC is barley a year old and the thermostat is 2013 circa.Washing Machine OdorIm looking for any advice or recommendations on how to get a lingering odor out of my Splendide 2100xc. The Unit is about 2 and a half years old and is frequently used as I am a full timer. I've heard of using a mixture of vinegar and baking soda usually fixes this issue but wanted to hear from other who have had this issue and want to know how you handled this situation? :hRe: AC air Flow not equal? Its a common thing. I just block some vents to get the air where i want it.Re: Costco auto programI got a good deal on my bike, but I also beat the Costco Deal when I bought my CRV. I bought it for about $1000 less than what Costco told me. And its very hard to find a dealer who supports the Costco plan.Re: AC problemIf you have to replace it Camping World are selling those for $660 and $130 to install it.Re: Trailer weight vs. towing capacitySimple answer, go about 4,000-4,500 pounds dry weight. You will make up the extra weight quick when you have full tanks and gear.Re: Roof Support? If its not braced then it wont support the weight of an AC. Bracing on most manufacturers are only optional of 50amp service 5th Wheels and are labaled as Braced openings. There is no way to tell if there is appropriate bracing unless you strip the ceiling. You should consider rigging up a in room AC.Re: Oil For Portable GeneratorI wouldn't use synthetic oil in a gen set. Its just a waste of money regardless of how little oil the gen requires. Stick with the conventional oil. Synthetic oils are for high performance engines, and once you go synthetic there is no going back.Re: Just purchased a 2014 Thor Four Winds 22EYou should have no problem in the city with that 22 footer.Re: Ford truck camperslooks expensive.
