I would like something that I don't have to mess with when the loads are changing.Air Lift SmartAirHas anyone used the Air Lift SmartAir automatic compressor system for their air bags? I'm trying to decide on what compressors system to get. Thanks JeffRe: 2nd AC in bedroom or garage if using for sleeping? bighog01 wrote: It seems you all are forgetting one thing. If you have 3 a/c's, they cannot all be run at the same time. At least that's what I've always been told. I have a Momentum 385TH with 3 AC units, one 15K and two 13.5K and can run all three with no problems when on a 50 amp service. They are all ducted units. When I was shopping around I was told by several salesmen that if it had three AC's that only two could be ran at one time.Re: Tow Vehicle Preferences Coach-man wrote: A couple of years ago there was a post on another site showing the engine internals, Ford, Duramax, and Cummins! The side by side pics were dramatic, hands down Cummins was much beeffer than either of the other competators by a whole lot, i.e. Connecting rods both Ford and GM were like fingers and Cummins was an arm! In line six simple rugged and durable, can not beat that. That said both Ford and Chevy have creature comforts and things that may interest you! Drive all three, and go with what suits you! And it does not mean anything. It was a marketing tool Dodge used a few years ago. A six cylinder making the same power as an eight cylinder has a lot more stress on the connecting rods. So it is really comparing apples and oranges to compare the connecting rods from a six cylinder to an eight cylinder. Even comparing the Duramax and Power Stroke without know what they are made of are pointless.Re: Our New Grand Designs 355TH yjamnik wrote: Would you guys mind giving us a ball park figure for negotiating the price of a new Momentum 385th. The dealer we went to wants about 85k. This time of year is slow for them, and I want to be smart about our purchase. I paid $76,000 for our 385. That price was total including tax, title, everything.Re: Tow Vehicle for momentum 385thI have a Momentum 385TH and tow it with a 2012 F350 with 3.73 rear end. It has no problem towing it and the Momentum is not even close to the heaviest thing I've towed with it. Any newer DRW truck should not have a problem towing it. Although I have heard a few complaints about the newer Ram being two high in the back for some fifthwheels.Re: Which Toy hauler; Cyclone, Raptor or Voltage Y-Guy wrote: RockinTCamp before you just jump back into the Voltage check out the Grand Design Momentum line up, bit more $ but they are designed for full timers. Just a thought. I second the Momentum vote, we looked and looked and could not find anything we liked better. They also have some new models coming out in the near future.
