It's the only thing except for the air bags, that have been replaced I had a frozen caliper, it was the left front. Going through the Motor homes records it wasn't the first time. The PO had taken it to a Ford dealer to get repaired, it cost him $700. bucks for one. I replaced all four and my shop charged me $600. New lines, calipers, a new rotor, and three turned.Re: Holiday Rambler AtlantisI have the same rig as Holiday 27. The P/O had front and rear sway bars installed and the air bags were from the factory. I just replaced the air bags as they were getting old and one blew out. No biggie. This thing drives great for something it's size. When we were looking for a class C I found the Holiday Rambler Atlantis. The general consensus was they were a very built unit, Aluminum roof and body. They were an expensive unit for the time, probably why they stopped building them when the recession hit.Re: OUR FIRST MOTORHOMEOh yea get the brake fluid flushed and changed. Brake fluid absorbs moisture like crazy. It is recommended to flush it every two to three years. I had all four calipers changed on my unit. the left front one was sticking and fried the rotor.Re: Bigger motors on slideouts for voltages?aarondeere, Could you explain what you mean by new voltages coming out. Are they using 24,32,36 volt motors now. Thanks DaveRe: Which internet service? There are satellite services available, but they are usually slower than dialup, expensive, and you need a different dish. I a word.... It sucks. Your better off with a cellular internet service. Many use Millenicom probably the best deal, Verizon, ATTRe: worth taking a look at or not? opinions pleaseFrom the pictures there seems to be delamination on the overhead. Note below the window above the passenger side. This is probably quite serious. How much did you say he would give you to haul it off? Fair Winds DaveRe: Stupid newbie question: levellingNever, never lift the front of your Class C with a tongue jack. I didn't ever want someone to try it with my Class C, so I cut it off.. DaveRe: Arrrgggghhhh - Fleas!! New Flea Medicine Failed...There is another product for controlling fleas in the house. It doesn't kill the fleas it kills the eggs It's call Precor. It is safe to use and really works. The only problem is that it takes about 3 weeks to break the cycle. We had fleas so bad in the house one time. They would jump on you and you could feel them. We used an insecticide and then followed up with the Precor treatment and after 3 weeks gone completely gone. It will keep on working for about 7months. Here is a link to some of the products http://www.epestsolutions.com/precor-flea-control-products&view_perpage=all.html Fair Winds DaveRe: AC not cooling in 115 degree heatGreat suggestion pnichols. In Florida this time of year the inside of our Class C, the same model as Holiday27's get to 90 inside when sitting for awhile. It assumes the ambient temp. It takes about an hour to get her back down to 80 also. The A/C was gone over recently, cleaned etc. When we first get ready to go I start the coach A/C and them use the A/C from the engine also. It speeds up the process of getting to cool down. I also have the reflective windshield covers and side window covers for the cab.Re: Water in ToiletHello Edda, Yes I do, but take what I do with a grain of salt. I don't leave the water in to lube the seal but to stop any odors coming up from the holding tank. Kind of like a trap under a sink:E
