In the end, most people handle small repairs themselves instead of sending their RV to the dealer where they will take sometime weeks/months to complete a repair. Also, consider that most things inside the trailer have their own warranty though the manufacturer, not through the corporation that built the RV. For example, if you have an issue with the brakes, it will be covered by Dexter, not the RV manufacturer. Not sure how a aftermarket warranty will play into that. Just seems like too much trouble, IMO.Re: Stale DEF JRscooby wrote: odenwell wrote: JRscooby wrote: I put on mask to walk the dog before we went in. I'm not real well educated, but if simple science is explained to me, I can understand it. Most of the developed world, the citizens of the country decided to unite to fight the invading army. Sure, in the northern hemisphere the number of cases are increasing. But most are increasing from a much lower level. And New Zealand has lifted all Covid restrictions, except for new arrivals because of no active Covid 19 cases in the country! It is a loss to have to protect myself and my family from people that think their ignorance is more important than other's lives. Enlighten yourself: Should you always wear a mask?Re: Stale DEF JRscooby wrote: I put on mask to walk the dog before we went in. First person I met "You don't need that mask, this is Trump country". I wanted something that would charge fast to minimize the eu2200i run time. It doesn't get much use so I don't sweat the details.Re: Honda 2000I versus Cpe 2000 inverterJust for clarification, my DLS90 is plugged directly into my eu2200i with a 25' 10awg extension cord. RV wiring is not involved.Re: Honda 2000I versus Cpe 2000 inverterI have the dls90, not the X, along with the AGM smart charging module. At the time of purchase, the X version was not in stock anywhere. Not sure if that had changed or what the advantage of it is.Re: Honda 2000I versus Cpe 2000 inverterJust as a point of reference, my Honda 2200 has no issue pumping out all 90 amps using my Iota 90 amp charger. Verified using a Victron bmv712 battery monitor on my AGM batteries. It is not running at 100 percent, either.Re: Thinking a Battery Monitor............. Ed_Gee wrote: 1) the shunt is the sensor that measures all current into and out of the battery. It should be installed in the negative battery cable going to chassis ground. It does not need to be readily accessible. The best quality battery monitors do NOT use bluetooth....the sensor connects to the display monitor by wire cable. 2) a battery monitor will work with any charge controller. 3)no comment....I prefer hard wired display - no bluetooth. 5) shunt type sensors are extremely accurate .....Not sure how accurate Hall sensor types are in comparison. Bluetooth is bad? That's a bold assertion. My Victron with Bluetooth works great.
