I need to leave soon because I keep thinking of little things to take along!!Re: What did you do to your Class A MH today???We've started the countdown to trip departure!! (We leave in 30 days!!!!) In the past several days we've: *emptied & vacuumed all of the basement storage compartments, only returning items we intend to take on The Trip. *fixed the drawer sliders in the dinette *replaced the handheld shower head (with a different model we think we'll like better) *gone through the interior, removing things not going on The Trip... *vac'd from front to rear, as well as dusting, polishing & cleaning windows & mirrors *went over the Lists...still have a few things to do, groceries to buy, & clothing to load, but most of this has to wait until the last couple days I put a ban on borrowing or stealing from the motorhome - if we don't have it in the house, don't take it from the MH!! So far, so good. Need to go shopping for a hitch-mount bike rack...Re: What did you do to your Class A MH today???Cleaning after last week's trip with 7-15 people. We had two campsites, but the MH was "camp central." Emptied out the fridge for defrosting. About ready to start the countdown 'til departure for our cross country trip...now under 2 months!Re: What did you do to your Class A MH today???We loaded some extra blankets & pillows for the extra people we'll have with us next weekend, as well as some non-perishables. Trying to "baby proof" as much as possible, as we'll have a 3 year old & a 10 month old with us. DH bought & installed a couple new batteries and a paper towel rack...sometimes it's the little things! It was 85 yesterday & barely hit 65 today...but it stayed dry! Gotta love spring...can't wait to leave for our big trip!Re: What did you do to your Class A MH today???Aaahhhh, we aired her out a bit. It got up to 70 today, so we had the door & windows open & fans running. Cleaned out the "junk drawer" -- how did I end up with a junk drawer in the MH? Oh well. Tomorrow, we'll move her over to the middle of the driveway so we can wash all the snow gunk away... Next outing in just under 2 weeks, for 3 nights. About 2-1/2 months 'til our cross country trip...almost ready to start a daily countdown!!Re: What did you do to your Class A MH today???Well, she's snowed in - AGAIN. Over a foot on the ground...we're hoping for sunshine & spring-like weather. In the meantime, we've used the oven in the MH because my house oven is on the blink. Went to Camping World yesterday (between storms) and picked up a few things. Installed a shampoo, etc dispenser in the shower & are waiting for snow to melt so DH can install the water pump silencer kit (hope it works!).Re: What did you do to your Class A MH today???Re-packed the sheets & clothes that stay onboard, freshly cleaned from our recent trip. Measuring windows to replace those blasted roll-up blinds that never work quite right that drive me CRAZY! I WILL have this situation remedied before our cross country trip! (this gives me just under 4 months to measure, choose fabric & make the new window coverings...) After I get the door & bedroom windows finished, I may just tackle a new one for the windshield!!Re: What did you do to your Class A MH today???I had "girls day out" with my cousin today...While I was out shopping & eating lunch, my sweet hubby was home washing all the windows in the motorhome!! She's a-sparkling now & ready to go!Re: What did you do to your Class A MH today???Vac & dusted; Made a list of things to replenish/load before our next little outing. Rearranged some things in cupboards & closets -- still figuring out what we really need (want) to have on board & where to stow it! Really enjoying the process!Re: What did you do to your Class A MH today???Well, this wasn't today, but in the recent past: Took a 2-day trip close to home, learned about the "reset switch" for the levelers :) We were quite relieved to know they didn't just die on us... We go out & sit in her almost daily to play a game, watch a movie, or just plan our upcoming summer trip. Today, we'll go out & prep her for a 3-day trip to Clear Lake. We decided it's time to venture a bit further from home!!
