Hopefully no one will be offended now. Geez! Click For Full-Size Image.Re: This is how I will transport my Honey Wagon Lantley wrote: Good Idea but there is no need to fabricate a rack. It has already been done for you. I carried my tote for years using a chair carrier/rack. Thanks for the idea, but I have a 42 gallon tote and dimensionally this item is to small for it. Also, the weight capacity is 40 lbs and my tote weighs 47 lbs.Re: This is how I will transport my Honey Wagon SoundGuy wrote: lclevel wrote: I would love to put the tote in the back of the truck like "SoundGuy" would, but unfortunately the bed of my truck has a diesel transfer tank, 4 large bikes, tools and anything thats small enough that I don't want to put inside the RV. Reading the forums my understanding is that some have adapted the BAL Hide-a-Spare Bracket for mounting a tote tank under the trailer, out of sight. :) No thanks. With my luck it would drag on the road due to different inclines and damage the rack and tote. ;)Re: This is how I will transport my Honey WagonOne more view. Below are a couple more pictures showing it strapped to the ladder. My plan is to buy a blue strap for better esthetics. LOL! For those concerned about it falling off during travel, rest assured, it's also strapped to the ladder and secured with a rope from the pulley at the top of the ladder. Ralph Cramden You are correct and I am familiar with the axle issue. I'm not sure if you can see in the picture, but if the axle came out of the track, I don't see any way of it falling off. But, for added safety I also tie a rope to it. Thanks for the heads up.This is how I will transport my Honey WagonHere is another PVC Pipe project I recently completed. 1" PVC pipe was used to fabricate the support that will carry the big blue Tote. A small pulley was placed at the top of the ladder to lift and help support the Tote. It's not shown in the picture, but I will also be using a ratchet strap to bind the Tote to the ladder. Because the pipe spans are so short, the support is more than strong enough to support the Tote. My DIY Clothes RackMade with 1" PVC Pipe and a Ratchet Strap Equals approximately 20 linear feet Re: UNDERSTANDING AC - DC -FUSES & MORE in RV'sThat was a very good, easy to understand video. I'm pretty knowledgeable about electricity but I still learned a couple of things. Thanks for posting.Re: Collapsable drinking water hose... yay or nayI LOVE this hose! I have 2 of them and couldn't be happier. I bought mine at Lowes and use it for the supply line to the RV. I think some people here are confusing this hose with the one that expands and retracts. This hose only collapses when depressurized. Also, it does not get stiff in cold weather and is super easy to store. This is the only hose I will buy now.Re: My DIY Bike RackThanks everyone for the kind reply's. I put Pipe Insulation Wrap on the bikes for protection. I didn't even think about putting carpet or fabric on the 2x4's. Good idea!
