The price was way better then Leavenworth.Re: 6 v GC batteries versus 12 v lithium deep cycle batteries capacitor wrote: Does the lithium take a different converter? YESRe: Anybody still going out?I live in western Oregon and ride a road bike ( was a Victory XCT and now back to my 2005 Road King ). March 2020 (when covid started) we were camping at the Oregon Coast for the 3rd trip that year. April; we got a monthly member spot in Central Oregon and went back and forth on the weekend for 3 or 4 nights each week. We got in a few rides from camp. Memorial week was in NE Oregon for 10 day ( 4th annual trip with 5er, 12th trip overall). We have NOT altered our fun and travels one bit. We had an awesome 2 week trip in Sept to NE Oregon and south Washington. Rainier NP and Mt St Hellen we great. We go where it's NOT HOT ( hot being 80*). I'm ready for my Memorial Week trip, which starts next Thursday. KEN Near La Grande, OR Near Challan, WA ( correction Chelan County Fairgrounds ) On a walk around Magone Lake after a peaceful ( very little traffic ) on the Victory to get here. I don't know which would be easier to pull over. 108 or 88. DO NOT DO --- 4 ---. 4 is a fabulous motorcycle road. I have blasted over 108 and 88 on a motorcycle too. My memory says it was a ways up and then a long down hill, with sweeping corners. KENRe: RV.net Truck Camper Forum for 20 YearsCongratulations Brad. 20 years of sharing and helping. From the web site Portions of Going-to-the-Sun Road remain open all year and provide access to many locations and activities. The opening of the alpine portion varies, based on snowfall and plowing progress. There is no set date for the road to open. Typically the road has been fully open in late June or early July. The museum is interesting for the local history. Just south in Dune City you can rent or ride on the dunes. I have lived in Western Oregon my whole life. We are getting ready to retire and travel the USA full-time. We will probably still come back to Oregon for the winter. We don't like the hot and or dryness of the normal wintering states. Ask away; of you have any questions about the coast. KEN Don't miss all the many lighthouses.
