VOLUNTEER HOST-June 2015 NC State Park
County Line campground at Kerr Lake State Recreation Area (on NC/VA border centrally) has 2 VOLUNTEER host positions available. June 1-15 and June 15-30, 2015. If you are available for the entire month, that can be taken into consideration. Position is responsible for opening and closing the park's entrance gate. Position has a site with water and electric hook-up. Park has a shower house and dump station. Prefer applicants that can spend the majority of the assignment in the park. Site has water and electric, shower house and golf cart. The park has a dump station. If you are available for the entire month that can be taken into consideration. Main duties are to open and close the park entrance gate, and let campers out after hours. Prefer folks that can spend the majority of the two weeks in the park. County Line Campground (70 sites) at Kerr Lake State Recreation Area (on the NC/VA border centrally) with NC State Parks is currently recruiting VOLUNTEER hosts for the 2014 camping season. Prefer that folks be available for a one month assignment. Days off/out of park early in the week, so that you can be in the park for the weekend. Open and close park's main gate (8am & 9pm daily) and to let campers out between closing and opening hours for emergencies. Be a source of positive RV/camping ethics and practices, and provide park information to campers. Free water and electric site. Park has a dump station and shower house is close by.
