Understand "INOPERATIVE" this concerns us, as I would believe it would concern others who have received the same letter I received a letter/notice from General Motors regarding our 2010 Chevrolet Express, (2010 RoadTrek 190 Popular), notice applies to my vehicle and gives the VIN Number. and reads as follows. Letter is intended to make you aware that some 2010 model year Chevrolet Express vehicles may have a condition in which the fuel pump becomes inoperative due to an open circuit and/or overheating of the fuel pump module battery terminal. Then the letter states, do not take your vehicle to your Chevrolet dealer as a result of this letter unless you believe that your vehicle has the condition as described above. They further state that General Motors is providing owners with additional protection for the condition described above. If this condition occurs on your 2010 Chevrolet Express within 10 years of the date your vehicle was originally placed in service or 120,000 miles, whichever occurs first, the condition will be repaired for you at no charge. Diagnosis or repair for conditions other that the condition described above is not covered under this special coverage program. RonRe: buying b out of stateGerry, Have you considered going to the MA RoadTrek dealer which would be Campers Inn in Raynham, MA and get a price on a ordered unit? I would ask the dealer in FL if he would send you the RoadTrek Manufacturer's Suggested Retail Price (M.S.R.P.) bulletin on the RoadTrek that you are interested in. Having the M.S.R.P. you know what to tell Campers Inn what you want in a ordered unit. See the manager Brian Sullivan nice fellow see what he can do for you, if his price is more than the dealer in FL tell him about the unit in FL, maybe he will match it. If you purchase the RoadTrek from the FL dealer they will charge you the MA State Tax which they will forward to MA, and I would believe they would give you a 30 day tag to operate the vehicle back to MA. RonWinnebago Rolls First Travato Off Lake Mills LineWinnebago Industries Inc. has completed production of the first Travato Class B motorhome at its new facility in Lake Mills, Iowa, according to a press release. As announced in November 2013, Winnebago expanded manufacturing for its Winnebago Touring Coach division after entering into a five-year lease of a 100,000-square-foot plant in Lake Mills formerly owned and operated by Cummins Filtration. “Our employees have done a great job; they’ve worked hard to install new equipment, set up the production floor and train new staff,” said Chairman, CEO and President Randy Potts. “It’s a real celebration to see the first Travato motorhome roll off the line and the timing for ramping up this production couldn’t be better as we prepare for the busy spring and summer selling season.” The Travato is the newest Class B motorhome to join the Winnebago Touring Coach lineup. At 20 feet long, the Travato is agile, while still offering a full-featured RV experience. The Travato features a floorplan with a rear double bed that is designed to flip up, allowing for large items like bicycles to be stored inside, while making them easily accessible through the large double doors at the rear of the coach. Built on the Ram ProMaster chassis, the Travato also offers swivel cab seats, LED ceiling lights, standard touch-screen navigation and a split dinette. Daimler Chrysler discontinued production of the Dodge Ram Van following the 2003 model year, replacing them with the Dodge Sprinter. On the RoadTrek Dodge Ram Van I believe the rear doors were all one door, unless it was a special order.
