It had 4 seats up front that made into 2 beds. the double bed in the back was pretty small. There was storage and a TV over the front seats. there was a wet bath. We used the toilet and sink but never tried to shower in that little cubby hole. It was a good choice for us until we moved on to a new 2004 Sportsmobile/Sprinter.Re: class B tire pressuresThe best answer to the original question is yes. Many of our vans are loaded to within a few pounds of maximum. The safest way to set tire pressures is to do as Good Sam suggests. Find a truck scale and weigh each wheel. Find the tire pressure table online or in the owner's manual for the correct size and rating of the tire and use that as a guide. Under inflation destroys tires and sometimes more.Re: Service On Sprinter Chassis? Our 2004 Sportsmobile/Sprinter 2500 with a trip to Alaska and many trips to Florida has been towed just once in 270,000 miles. That was when the transmission was replaced with more than 200,000 miles on the odometer. Several times we used "limp home mode" to get help. I have found that I can find Freightliner dealers phone numbers in my GPS. If Freightliner dealers cann't fix it, they know who can. I have also had work done at Mercedes dealers and there is a local garage that does good work also. In the past I've had difficulty getting an alternator replaced at a Chevy garage. I also think that it is easier to get work done on a Ford than any other brand. The Sprinter has needed very little repair and I've been treated well the few times when repair was needed.Re: How do you get used to such a small bed?Our 2004 Sportsmobile Sprinter 2500 is 22 feet long and has a King size bed.Re: 2.7 l Mercedes diesel engineWe have 260,000 miles on our 2004 2500 Sportsmobile Sprinter. Recently we spent $1,000 to replace a leaking water pump. Other repairs are expensive too but infrequent. At age 80 we don't plan to put on 20,000 miles a year like we used to but we'll keep it and use it for a while longer.Re: RePainting Companies Recommendations? At 8 feet, 8 inches I found that few body shops in my area of Connecticut have tall enough ceilings to paint the roof.Re: Air conditioning cool/warm lever migrates to middleI think I would whittle up a little piece of wood to fit into the slot and hold the lever to the left. A small rubber band wrapped repeatedly around it might bind in the slot and hold it in place until it needed to be removed.Re: Angled propane fill elbow? Rubber hose?Would it work to lift the body of the B an inch or two by driving onto "leveling blocks when refilling propane? No additional stuff to carry.
