I have a 7,4 and 5month old, that loves it. the couch/Murphy bed works great. Bed is A tad small for me (6’4) but not as bad as others I tried, But The Murphy bed works with the slide in and it’s not too bad to get past the slide to get to the back of the camper. it has a good amount of storage space, But I added more under the sofa and outside kitchen that said I see they changed up some for 18 and it’s missing the small wardrobe and bathroom tub and the outside bathroom door. Maybe look for a 17 leftoverRe: kids and camper doors. My camper, you really need to pull on the lever to open the door and it pops the door open faster than they can step down sometimes....my 4 (not 6) hasn't gotten hurt just takes a tumble once or twice before he rembers how to work the door. Thanks, the cord seems like a good idea. I'll try that. I already have the factory folding hand rail. John-kids and camper doors.Anyone here have any solutions/ mods for smaller kids (6and7) getting into the camper without falling down the steps? i have two smaller guys that like to open the door by themselves, They have to climb to the top of 3 steps to operate the latch but when the door opens it knocks them down or pins them as they try to duck under as it swings openr I dont think they ever planned for kids operating these doors.... Thanks for the help, John i have a 2016 whitehawk MBH24Re: dragging the propane tanks...The funny thing is I was more worried about using the slide dinette while it was slide in rather than propane tank mount security....I should have removed the plastic tank cover to see if the two 30lb flammables were secure... Lesson LearnedRe: dragging the propane tanks...cant post pic here so I put it in my profile pic.....Re: dragging the propane tanks...[img] [/img]Re: dragging the propane tanks...The older Cummins Diesel engine and the two dvd's playing in the back seat probably added a extra mile or two of dragging before I heard the noise. Plus The tanks were actually dragging under the camper with the extra slack from the hose. My wife luckily saw them slide out when we were going around a corner. Good news. I got a call from jayco. They are going to cover it under warranty. hopefully I can get it back for next weekenddragging the propane tanks...My camper is a 16 jayco White Hawk 24 mbh, We had the two 30lb LP tanks fall off the trailer on our last day of a 3 week vacation. I drug them for about 5 miles or so until we figured out what was happening. Everything that holds the tanks on plus the cover were missing. The hoses, tank switch and regulator seem ok. The tanks still holding propane but are shot. Luckily the tanks did their job an held together..... I would check the top wing bolt every time we would get back on the road and it always seemed tight. The only thing that I can think that went wrong was there was no lock nut on the stud that holds the tanks to the base and it shook loose. I never had the tank cover off and I assumed it was locked in to the base and wouldn't unthread. Does that stud require a lock nut? John- Sent from my iPhone Sent from my iPhoneBumper mounted Swing out gas grill? Can anyone point me to where i can buy a bumper mounted swing out grill for the rear of my camper. I'm looking to have the grill store outside on the mount and have a cover. thanks, johnRe: Are slides safe to use in the closed position? Thanks for everyone's input. As I said we stop in places where we can't always open the slide fully and also in my driveway.... I don't think it's a matter of having mirrors folded in while driving, it's more of can my mirrors fold back if there hit in the opposite direction... So I've narrowed it down to a LAUNCH ULTRA LITE 26BHS VIBE EXTREME LITE 250BHS Igo 260bh Jayco jayfeather 26bhsw Anyone have one of these?
