Like to know good camping and things to do along rt2 on my way home. I have 5 days, would like FHU or Electric sites. My rig is a 35 ft. 5th wheel. ThanksRe: Brake systems- Motohome Magazine loggenrock wrote: As one who has used NSA ReadyBrute for something over 15k miles, I can tell you I am very pleased with its performance. First saw one at the Hershey show several years back, liked the simplicity. After a friend had a Brake Buddy, I saw the issues of installing/removing/STORING the brake box. No such issue with ReadyBrute. Ignoring the discussion of supplemental brake requirements, with a smaller coach I WANTED such braking when towing. We've been thru the Rockies, West Virginia, and the mountains of NH and VT without issue. Added plus, the NSA system costs less than other types of systems, and weighs less, too. ST I Agree 100%. I have also used one for a while now & it is excellent. Very easy to hook-up too. :)Re: Michigan to Key WestI'm also heading to the Keys in December. Plotted my route down I-77/I-95. Well after reading this I am rethinking my route. Did order a Sun Pass, 1 out of 2 isn't bad. What About Atlanta, always here it was a nightmare to get through??Re: Yellowstone camping - best spots? Ended up with 2010 F-350 crew cab short bed V-10. Love it . Tows my 10,000 lbs. 5th wheel great . I to am planning trip out west next summer, so we will see how it does in mtns . Seems like this V-10 has more mid range power , and with 4.10 gears it does ok from a dead stop also. Only have towed on flat land in Ohio getting 8/9 mpg. I think 6.2 is a capable motor, but some guys complained about 6 speed trans and its shifting especially while towing. For me it came down to the 6.2 is still a new motor, just like 6.7 diesel , need a few years to work out any problems.
