We have an 07 Montana and when he gets around about 40° outside air temp we put our thermostat on 68 and throughout the night it kicks off and on about every 25 to 30 minutes. Recommend you take two OEM fuel filters and one oil filter, make sure you drain your water separator each day preferably in the morning before you start driving. If they were properly installed and lubricated 12 K is break in miles. You may call me nut`z. I had mine replaced all 4 wheels and had them lubricated with a high grade boat bearing grease. This will keep out all of the water and salt laden snow slush. Oh I did forget to note I also had bearing buddies installed too. This will keep a slight constant positive pressure to keep out the muck when they cool off, and the anti corosion properties in the grease will protect bearings and races.206Views0likes0CommentsKeystone Decals (Montana)
I am pleased to post that I have received a box today with my Montana decals. It was about 6 months ago I had read on the forum about another Montana owner with decal problems. I had contacted their owner relations and very politely explained the problems along with pictures . I then also explained the process on how I washed and cared for it using all approved RV recommended products. I must send a shout out to Keystone for doing the right thing they provide the decals and I will have them applied. I know there are a few that will say they should have applied them too. However I was not ready to pull to Indiana to have them applied there, and spending a few bucks here keeps me in good standing with my local RV repair shop. We are trying to salvage what we can . We are currently in Washington State we will travel our northern states and spend our $$$$ here in the states on fuel, food, camping fees and all of the tourist traps we can find ,and keep the money in the states.
