Is there a problem with that?Re: North Carolina Hwy 276This would be the end-of-the-day dinner, or "supper". I suspect we would be headed back around 7:30.Re: Fall Road Trip Up the East CoastWow, the "Hidden New Jersey" is phenomenal, just what I was looking for. I'll look for something similar for the other states. About the foliage, would we do better to start earlier? We could start a little earlier if need be - we just have commitments through the third week of September and would like to take a little break.Re: North Carolina Hwy 276Thanks. That's what I was afraid of. The group we will be with is driving Waynesville to Brevard, stopping at Pisgah Inn for dinner, and then going on to Ashville for the night. We'll have to work out a different strategy. Maybe drive back over the mountain after dinner to get the coach and then go to Ashville, maybe even go the next morning. How long would it take to drive Brevard to Waynesville in a normal car, and would it be a bad idea to do it at dusk or after dark? This will be on a Wednesday.Re: Stains on ceilingThis is a perennial topic because RVs have a lot of minor leaks. We use Oxyclean, a Clorox product. It has worked on all our stains. Take care not to get it in your eyes or on wood. When cleaning a stain from a leak, be sure the leak is fixed first or you'll be doing it again!Fall Road Trip Up the East CoastWe are two adults and two small dogs, planning a motorhome trip up the east coast in October from Atlanta to Cape Cod and back. We have people to visit in North Carolina, West Virginia, the D.C. area, Philadelphia, Westchester County NY, and Cape Cod and want to work in interesting stops on different routes up and back. We will be towing a Honda Fit, so we can park the motorhome and take the Fit to out-of-the-way places. When necessary, the dogs can stay in the motorhome during the day. We have both seen most of the standard tourist stops and are looking for unusual things we are likely not to have seen. We would love to find a printed reference for worthwhile overlooked gems. Slide shows on the web don't really help a lot.North Carolina Hwy 276Is anyone familiar enough with Hwy 276 to advise on taking it from Waynesville to Brevard in a 36-foot RV towing a Honda Fit? We're told 18-wheelers can't go on it but RVs should be fine, but not sure about towing, or whether we should plan to drive the Fit on that stretch. We're told there are now switch-backs, but the map has turns that look pretty tight and don't want to get into a problem situation. ThanksRe: Selling RV PartsI have found Craigslist productive for everything from giving stuff away free to hiring technical personnel. But I have never had a response to any ad I have placed regarding RV parts.Re: Selling RV PartsThere are a couple of sites just for this purpose that have been suggested here in the past. I just can't find the posts now.Selling RV PartsWhat are the best sites for selling used RV parts? (I have search and it didn't pop up.)
