All ActivityMost RecentMost LikesSolutionsRe: Does your driver's license match your vehicle registration? My Vehicles are registered in MT. (recently purchased a new car from CA while residing in NV, registering it in MT.) My domicile is TX. Only recently got drivers licence in TX. (getting my licence in TX had nothing to do with my domicile being in TX.) I use to be licenced in NV. Understand this: Your domicile state wants you to licence your vehicles in there state. They can take legal action to require this. The state you licence your vehicles in assume that state is your domicile. The best solution is to not spend much time in the state you are licenced in or your registration is in. That way If you should be stopped by America's finest they have no jurisdiction. If you are licenced in NV and get stopped in NV they have a legitimate reason to ask you questions. If your stopped in CA they have no jurisdiction unless you have CA registration or licence. Lesson: Don't register or get drivers licence in a state that you spend a much time in. Then cross your fingers that you don't get stopped in either of those states when you do visit.Re: T-Mobile changes to one planAfter being with Verizon for 10+ years I switched to T-Mobile. Very happy with T-Mobil. My bill dropped nearly in half. I have unlimited data, voice, text and 15k hotspot on each line. Yes there are holes in service. For me to save nearly $100 on four lines, it was worth the occasional inconvenience. T-Mobil is constantly expanding their service area.Re: Camco Sewer Hose 39761, 39762, And 39770I use the red Camco hose. No idea of the number. First one lasted about 5 years. I was so happy with it I bought a second one. You can't go wrong. The hoses that "pull to extend" don't please me because I want to touch the stinky slinky as little as possible. As inexpensive as they all are it's hard to make a wrong choice. I once bought a good Walmart hose. Didn't like it. It bent too easily. All hoses will bend if you step on them. Good luck and happy trails,Re: Seattle to Hermon Maine in June 2017US 2 through upper Michigan. Outstanding road, much more scenic than interstate and 4 lanes most of the way. 2 lanes through UP in MI. Your on your own east of MI. Happy trails,Re: West Palm Beach to Portland by way of Vegas?I winter in Las Vegas and taken the route to Portland many times and many ways. Our favorite and most scenic route is 93 north to Ely, 50 east to 305 (excellent roads). I-80 (i hate interstates) to Winnemucca. North to Burns, OR, north again to I-84. I-84 to Portland. Beautiful travels on this route with a bonus of being the shortest. If a snow storms are coming through wait it out in Winnemucca or if your in a hurry a person could take I-80 west to I-5 (again, I hate intestates.) The best way to Las Vegas is take your favorite way to I-40. I-40 west to Kingman, 93 north to LV. Best (also the lowest cost) CG in Las Vegas is the "Clark County Shooting Complex". At bitter north end of Decatur Blvd. in LV. Not listed in CG guides. $20 a night with outstanding security (a big issue in LV). No need for reservations, 80 FHU sites. About 30 minutes to the strip (ugh). Happy trails,Re: What do you do for WIFI on the roadI switched from Verizon to T-Mobil cut my bill by 1/3 AND added unlimited data and unlimited hotspot. T-Mobil does not have the coverage of Verizon but it has been fully satisfactory for this full timer for the last year. Every bodies situation varies.Re: Towing 2013 Honda CR-vInstalling a circuit disconnect switch is not very difficult. A long explanation of doing this is on www.crvownersclub.com Briefly: buy an "add a fuse" at an auto store. get a 7.5 amp fuse if the fuse size is different than the stock Honda fuse. Buy an on/off switch (see www.crvownersclub.com for a switch that fits in the blank space on the left side of steering wheel), put the parts together and in one hour you got a switch that kills your accessory circuit when towing. If you are all thumbs and don't want to mess with splicing in a switch, etc. You can buy a kit from Roadmaster for about $70. You will still have to mount Roadmasters toggle switch if you buy their kit or let it hang down under your dash. The price of DIY parts is about $18. You will ask yourself after doing this: Why didn't I do this sooner.Re: 2014 Honda CRV - What will the front-end look like?I have a 2014 CRV with a Roadmaster system. I love it. I previously had a 1999 CRV with a Roadmaster system. The new Roadmaster system is great. I fancy myself pretty aware of all the available systems. The following detail is the reason I am so pleased with the Roadmaster base plate. I ordered the -5 option. Sorry I'm too lazy to dig up the full number of the base plate but the -5 option is great. It's light (5#-8#) for each side. Easy to remove and reinstall. Does NOT require the cross bar usually required on Roadmasters. And it looks great when you remove the two pieces. The only thing that is visible on the front of the CRV when you remove the attachments are two rings, about 1.5" each. There are also two tabs that project for attaching the safety cables. (These two tabs are nearly invisible.) I want to add that it is incredibly easy to remove or reinstall the attachments. You bend down, pull a spring loaded pin, rotate the attachments 180 degrees and pull out. You don't need to get on your knees to disconnect. Good luck on your choice. Eric currently in Las Vegasconvert 3g to 4g mifi without losing unlimited Verizon data?I have had Verizon 3g (USB760) for years. We're heavy users (10G/mo.) Previously I've been told I can't convert to 4G without giving up my unlimited data. Today I talked to a Verizon tech support and they said "...I can convert from 3G to 4G mifi if I purchase my own mifi device and I can keep my unlimited data." Is this true? I'll leave the dark ages tomorrow if it is. I expect this has been covered previously but my searches have not turned up anything.Re: Has anyone else lost access to .WMA files? All of the solutions I have found, including Microsoft suggestions, don't work because the message I get is "you do not have permission to view or edit this objects permission settings". Or "you need permission to preform this action." And I can't change the permissions.
