And when I get up I gotta have a shower to wake up and no I wont use a Walmart sink! Lol I was just wondering how many people do it. I see lots of motorhomes in the lots but not a whole lot of 5th wheels. wow u people can be ruff on a persons question!! LOL Thanks for comments :) You should have more than enough battery power to get through one night. Your slides work off the battery. As for the shower, put the water heater on propane....over night stops in a fiver aren't any different in a motor home.Re: Where do you carry 'IT' Re: Disc brakes NOT working with GM integrated controlWe had this with our 2011...the simple fix is to wire two brake magnets into the pig tail of the fifth wheel...it "fools" the controller into believing you have electric brakes and will immediately send power to the disc brakes. Worked for us for 4 years. This problem was corrected in our 2015 Chevy.Re: New Carriage? Me Again wrote: What is with the delete of rear caps. Montana has to be spec'd just so to get one. Grand Design high end Solitude lacks a rear cap. On and on! Next you know Thor will drop it on the MS. Chris doubt that...it's been what, six years...Landmark, Bighorn and Big Country still have rear caps...Re: 6 point Level up system - will it lift trailer? No problem...have used it many times to change tires, etc. As for twisting the frame...not gonna happen. Level up is designed so that all legs work in unison keeping the frame "flat and square" at all times. If you lift one side the other drops keeping everything straight...it will "time out" once the legs over extend.Re: Competition for the Anderson Ultimate ??After owning several different Pullrite hitches...I would definitely trust anything they made! Great hitches...great company!Re: Burglar Alarm? We use Simplisafe. It's a fully monitored system, $24.99 a month, no contract. Even monitors our smoke detector.Re: Chevy integrated brake system Denny & Jami wrote: If you are having trouble with your ibc and hydraulic brakes just take two brake magnets and clamp them to the frame, wire them in parallel with the actuator set your controller to electric. It will think it's working with electric brakes not hydraulic. Denny This is what we did with our 2011 Chevy to make the hydraulic disc brakes work...the problem was solved with the 2015 that we have now. As for the OP's question...we've been towing with a 2015 for over a year and about 10K miles...no problem with the trailer tires.Re: leveling systems for fifth wheelersOnce you have it, you won't go back...;)Re: New RV pricesYou think that's bad, check out the Jayco Designer that they brought back...almost $150K...
