All ActivityMost RecentMost LikesSolutionsRe: Roadside assistance not good serviceWhere we are in Branson if you put it into the GPS it doesn't come up. The SKP co-op in Hondo, TX wouldn't show up on mapquest. There the house across the street would come up but not the campground. So if you gave someone the address of the campground they couldn't find it. Not their fault it just didn't show up. RonRe: traveling on WA 20 with a 40 ft MH and TOADI second the suggestion about making a loop doing highway 20 one way and highway 2 the other way. I have gone over both many times and have never had a problem. RonRe: Crossing Kansas East to West - Route AdviceI like highway 50 out of Colorado to the east. I think that it is better than the interstate. But I also think that everywhere has its own beauty. I have been in Dodge City twice but always in the wrong season Boot Hill was closed. RonRe: Electrical connectionsAlso campgrounds usually don't put a load on the power post so they don't know if the circuit breaker is bad unless you tell them. Our posts all have 20, 30 and 50 amp receptacles. If there is a problem with a 30 amp one we have an adapter to plug into the 50 amp one. RonRe: My DW says I'm anal/OCD.....am I?If you want to eliminate this from happening in the future you could put some screen just inside the cover. This would stop the hail from getting to the radiator. RonRe: Hydraulic slides and jacks not extendingThe only things that I think of that would cause these problems is if it was low on fluid or the pump is weak and not building pressure like it should. I don't have anything to base this on except for comparing the system to a water system. RonRe: Idaho Route 12I would also say the visitor center at Lolo Pass is pretty good. The only time we went over Lolo Pass we didn't quite make it to the top when the mh died. Beautiful area. RonRe: RV Park Tenants Rights in South Carolina ford coupe wrote: almost sounds like situation we have in our park in florida. park was sold old owner very sneaky didn't tell anyone they had sold, still don't know who to pay rent to,old owners staying in park till end of june-i don't trust them but we don;t want to make bad impression to new owners, any suggestions? The owner of the park was under no requirement to inform you that they were selling. Pay your rent to the people running the park and get a receipt. You don't know what the agreement is nor is it really any of your concern. RonRe: Nashville to YellowstoneYou can always go through Branson one way or the other. RonRe: InsuranceIt depends on how you are using your RV and what it is. Also if you have other insurance to cover the contents of the RV. Check with your insurance agent.
