I second the suggestion about making a loop doing highway 20 one way and highway 2 the other way. I have gone over both many times and have never had a problem.Ron
I like highway 50 out of Colorado to the east. I think that it is better than the interstate. But I also think that everywhere has its own beauty. I have been in Dodge City twice but always in the wrong season Boot Hill was closed.Ron
Also campgrounds usually don't put a load on the power post so they don't know if the circuit breaker is bad unless you tell them. Our posts all have 20, 30 and 50 amp receptacles. If there is a problem with a 30 amp one we have an adapter to plug in...
If you want to eliminate this from happening in the future you could put some screen just inside the cover. This would stop the hail from getting to the radiator.Ron
The only things that I think of that would cause these problems is if it was low on fluid or the pump is weak and not building pressure like it should. I don't have anything to base this on except for comparing the system to a water system.Ron
