I had a similar problem on my 2011 Monaco....rear camera would exhibit strange colors and get very dark before going black altogether...if the weather was cooler rearview worked longer but would eventually go dark ...side cameras would always work so...
Found mine on Ebay for less than 1/4 of new price.....had to ship unit to TX..... still significantly cheaper. (about $2200 after install and freight )
