Thanks to everyone. We had a great trip and returned home safely. Braking in bursts to dump speed was a great suggestion. We kept it under 55 and a few times had to lock it in 3rd gear. Thanks for the responses. Shark bite did not work with my Qest pipes...Apparently shark bites need pressure for them to be sealed so when I turn of the water pump water was dripping from where the pipe was inserted. I had to buy Qest fitting with the crimp and pincher to get this connected. It is somewhat fixed cos I still have some water oozing very very mildly between the nut and the crimp. Hi, I have a leak in my compression fitting. The leak is between the crimp and the nut...right where the nut is attached to the tube. How can I repair this leak? I cannot seem to remove the crimp. Here's the picture http://www.flickr.com/photos/84864561@N08/9249952544/ Do I have to use the same type of fitting? or are there easier pex type compression fitting or more newer fittings in the market that I can replace it with? My overall estimate of the weight of the camper would be about 5200 lbs plus 350 lbs of camping gear on my truck bed. Hi, I just recently took my travel trailer (Kit Companion) on a camping trip and I found my fresh water holding tank has a leak. I looked at the tank which is right below my main bed and I can see water on the floor but I cannot tell where the leak source is. Fortunately, it was a 3 day trip and we had water till the last day morning of our trip. Could you please advise on what would be some ways to detect where the leak is originating?
